the only business plan here is finding a sucker with more money and even less brains than you to buy it next...you aren't making back 300 million renting a few hotel rooms and doing some ATV tours haha
@@zZrEtRiBuTiOnZz This joke is supposed to used like this. Kid: Mom can we watch Spiderman? Mom: We have Spiderman at home (proceeds to show Spiderman rip-off)
Some people could pay for this and not even be concerned at the loss of money. Jeff bezos could quite literally buy this and forget about it because 280 million means nothing when you're worth of 100 billion dollars
Shogun_ Speaks actually he would most likely have as little cash as possible. I bet most of his “net worth” is in his company, like shares stocks and so forth. If he has 99 billion in his company and only 1 billion in cash it’s still a huge investment.
@@username-up1ph an observatory includes a telescope for observing (looking at) the night sky. A Planetarium is typically a room where stars, planets, and other parts of the sky are projected onto a dome-like ceiling.
As cool as it would be for this to be bigger than a country, it isn’t. Vatican city is the smallest country in the world, at a little over 1 million square feet. Facts are fun
Obviously, he is richer than any horse there has ever been and clearly is a successful broker. It was a joke about a horse living in a 280 million dollars worth of house. For future reference, I know the horse is also for sale and does not actually own the property.
Yes, the substantial piece was not commented on, what type of Telescope was in there, 20inch Newtonian Reflector? Or maybe a 20inch Schmidt-Cassegrain?
@@reggieasplund9081 I hear ya...That type is really annoying...In my neighborhood, we'd fix that real fast...He needs to get CLOCKED, and how! meh, douchebags are gonna douche...bag...:)
*Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2023, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $400k savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them*
Do you mind sharing info on the adviser who assisted you? been saving for pension since age 18 - company scheme. along the way I hit higher tax, so I added to my company pension with a SIPP (tax benefits) I'm 46 now and would love to grow my finance more aggressively, there are a few cars I still wish to drive, a few mega holidays
I've taken the initiative to research Harry Brenda Ava online and verify her credentials. I'm impressed with her expertise, and I've reached out to her to share my financial market goals in detail.
10:36 A little history lesson. That is actually the same spot where Aang defeated Fire Lord Ozai to end the war of Fire Nation aggression. Crazy the amount of history contained in this property.
Ok I hate you because before I thought it was just overkill to own all of this but now I actually want to own it just because of that statement and I’m pissed off because I know it’s a lie and even then I still want it....
@@superdill6665 observatory = looks at the sky, usually with some sort of telescope; planetarium uses some method of projecting artificial scenes of the sky, usually on a domed ceiling
Amazing place! At first I was like How is one house worth $280 million? Then you mentioned 9,000 acres, it’s own airport, resort and 2 restaurants and it started to make sense.
The house, property, and amenities are incredible, wow, lots of architectural detail. A fascinating, intelligent house. Where is the owner moving to? I love that it comes with 4 ready businesses
Me: Uhh.. So I'm at the runway but... fu*k.. I was going to the cottage you know, after I was at the planetarium with the boys? We kind of split up somewhere along the way and I saw Kyle coming down in the copter not long ago so I thought I was going the right way but I don't know man... I went through this golf course just on the way here but I don't know if it was the neighbour or not because I've been walking for a couple hours now... 911: Don't worry sir, our officers can see you from your private police station Me: Oh never saw that feature before, thanks man!
yeah who actually needs a town. I feel like if you have this much money it could go to way better causes. Kids suffering etc. Ultra rich people seem to get conditioned, and need more more more. Like drug addicts just with random expensive stuff
Hi Ryan, so I just saw this video. I live in Grand Junction, CO and we're probably 45 minutes to an hour from Gateway. It is absolutely gorgeous there! Thanks for showing!
10 years later after I bought the house: “hey look, I found another room” sorry my Son commented on my account he's 11 ,;) cool house do not my cup of tea.
sooo who else noticed that host didn't know the difference between a planetarium and an observatory? A planetarium just projects an image of stars on a dome. . . but that place had an actual telescope
Honestly these shows match the houses and estates so well, all flashy and tacky and only focus on how much expensive shit one can cram in between 4 walls. None of these houses are actually interesting. You can literally take a checklist and just go through it blindly, the only difference between each house is how expensive each part is made. 1. Bar 2. Wine cellar 3. Home theater 4. Infinity pool 5. Multi car display/garage 6. Multi rooms/kitchens/baths 7. Fossils 8. Etc. It's like they are all copies of each other with slightly changed - yet still tacky style, and it's just the basic cost of the things that change, not the things themselves. So boring. And the hosts are exactly like that too, they are all copies that just match the scale of the house they review. Always want to be in the center of attention and everything has to be sleek and quick and leave no time to actually digest what goes on in the house itself. All I know is that this dude has a white smile and silver dyed hair and he loves to talk a lot while describing very little. It's amazing.
@@honestbenny That level of Networth (with a controlling stake nonetheless) in a company like Amazon is worth more than just cash. You are downplaying it.
@@honestbenny in other words, you would have to give me twice the amount of cash of his net worth for his assets before I would even consider the offer.
But the interior is hopelessly average tho.. It's all about quantity and tacky luxury display, not actual quality and architectural ingenuity. Very basic and boring tbh, seen from a professional point of view.
I've been to the gateway car museum its awesome the most expensive classic car is worth millions. It's great because the town is maybe a max of 500 people.
Love it. It has the potential to pay for itself with the resort and museum. I'd rent out the log cabin as a dude ranch and give trail rides. The potential is enormous. Another good example of needing to have money to make money.
@Ghost87 You must question yourself if you like that sterile interior There no history watching this, like nobody never lived there, but hey you're a ghost after all
