Is it too soon for a mall in City of Elmina? Will it be another empty mall? What's the solution to the traffic congestion? What is the progress of the school?
In this visit, the goal is to check out the brand new Elmina Lakeside Mall on a normal day just to check the crowd and business activities. As a bonus, we also experienced the mall during rain, which is one of the biggest concern for the open architecture design. Also, we further investigate the new precinct to get all the answer for all the question posted by you guys.

should build a multi story car park since basement car park is more expensive to build, anticipate congestion during public holidays and heavy down pour

They should have had at least a 1 floor basement car park. They could have learnt this from desa park city which is always almost impossible to get a car park

I think there will be a phase 2 of the mall, and most likely there will be more elevated carparks there. Let me confirm further with the architect:)

There's a reserved spot for possibly the boomgate and POS for parking entry, let's see what the public thinks when they start charging for parking and there's no shelter for the parking bays, no sheltered walkway from parking zones to the strip of shops. Once the "fresh" factor wears off we'll see a clearer picture. One weekend all the nearer parking zones were full and i saw several OKUs having to travel a distance crossing several roads under extreme heat as they had to park few hundred metres away, not to mention road shoulders were all fully parked.

Just back from there.. sweating like crazy.. concept is like GPO but while in Genting the cold weather is nice here is hot and sweaty! But i guess no one really complains as this area is far away from city so there is no other option but this mall

Ya, I also scratch my head. Where and how? Seems more of a false marketing scheme to me. As I can't seem to see how it could be done. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong.

It will be an extension from Kwasa Damansara called MRT extension west (Kwasa - Elmina - Klang). Can check this info from Rancangan Tempatan MBSA2035 document.

@@J0K3RsSit just city municipal future plan .. all municipal in Klang Valley have similar plans on paper .. but whether it will be adopted by gov for MRT project is another different story
