Nearly became an apprentice stone mason at the cathedral when I finished school, was put off by the initiation test. Plus I don't like heights.

Incredible. We marvel at the masons' craft today but they were revered even more back then in a time of primitive lifting gear, rickety scaffolding and with scant regard for health and safety. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work.
