@@aiai-j7i Ghibli refers to Studio Ghibli which is an Japanese animation studio that makes heart warming films. A quick explanation would be to refer to them as Japan’s Disney but they do not make films just for children but for all ages with a lot of world building. A Ghibli world often has elements very similar to that sense of lovely coziness with nature, like this gentleman’s home.
This gentleman is the epitome of class and grace, a rarity!! Thank you so very much for allowing me into your home and life, I enjoyed every second xxx
I’m in love. I’m sure everything sounds more romantic in Italian, but what a beautiful garden, lovely home and adorable animals… I totally can relate that being his joy in life ❤
Both garden and house touched my heart - once we lived in a 400 year-old house but now I live in the wrong era and area. My deepest thanks though go to this lovely gentleman; I can't be the only elderly lady who will dream about this video!
Well, I am nearing the cusp of old age just rounding the corner, and I am also definitely living in the wrong era. So you are not alone 🌺🌞 ~ i do believe in the adage, "if you are among the very young at heart" ~
This comment resonated with me. I too lived in a four hundred year old house in Scotland. It was pink stone, and surrounded by the sea on three sides. I felt at one with the sea, a part of the tides, storms, and life. Now living in a place that I’m only here to be near a treasured grandchild, I miss that life of being part of a much much bigger organism. I love to hear and see of others journeys though.
@@sm3296 I so miss being by the sea too. I had to leave a house I loved on the coast of Mexico because the owner I was renting from was on the verge of losing a legal battle over the land. It broke my heart not being able to toss a stone from my bedroom window into the ocean at high tide and no longer hearing the seals calling at night. I could sit for hours just watching, whether it was the panoramic vista or a few square feet at low tide. I'm in the desert now, and it's the wrong place for me. I keep trying to make it work, looking at the stars instead of the sea, but the universe seems to be telling me it's not right.
This is exactly what I would like for my later years, which are rapidly approaching, if not here already. I feel things sliding away out of my control between politics, climate change, plagues...And I too feel like I'm in the wrong place and time. It's nice to know I'm not the only one.
And here they come. My eyes got teary all of sudden. This is the life that I have always been yearning for, even at 28 years old. What a life he has led! One day, I will have this home, this vibe.
Try some small start, buy a little plant, cook with some herbs, visit a local park or garden, volunteer there. Don't give up. Many elders are lonely. They must be cautious. Ask some questions. Try the library. Many there will be thrilled that you want to learn.
My eyes and breath got teary too. !!! I have lived a long time. My wife always said that she liked the house as it was. No knocking out walls to make it into a (s) white modern spaceship or fridge. My wife was Croatian. Oh, I should say she also got me to learn Italian. She said it is itself a beautiful language. In fact a Scottish person can speak/understand Croatian, Italian, french ... So the language (of the video) and the respect for the house (look ,, it has colour) and the garden .,.. Compared to the modern architect monstrosities ... It leaves me in tears , but of joy .. Grazie molto, Hvala, merci beaucoup, bless (:-))) The house has colour.
When we bought our house, i thought our garden was too small, but a small garden is still a lot of work, and much like a Scandinavian house, it's all about how you use the space you have. Learn about plants and trees that support local fauna, learn about creating light while still having shade. Use natural, locally sourced materials and your garden slowly starts to shape itself into something relaxing and beautiful.
@@philmccavity , I love your comment about creating light while still having shade...I'm sure it is a practical gardening tip, but also quite applicable to life.
You can tell this man has lived a beautiful and harmonious life, surrounded by all the things he loves and enjoys. Thank you for sharing. Wishing him much more beautiful and serene years to come. 💕
Well-tended old gardens are the best!!! I would love a very long and detailed garden tour. The house is just as it should be - enchanting and over time filled with objects and books. Thank you for the tour!
This prettiest ,old-world italian house and prettiest natural setting ,the amazing garden full of so spellbindingly handsome trees ,the wooded heights above the house ...This is a true heaven on Earth ,which ,can be found mostly in such spots in Italy and so seldom in other spots on the Earth...
Absolutely beautiful garden, home, and life. This is how I want to live, and I will do anything to make it happen. This is how we as humans were meant to live.
What a lovely visit ! It’s wonderful to see a man so full of appreciation for the life he has lived and is still enjoying. Thank you for sharing this with us 🌹👑🌹👑🌹
This is amazing garden! It is incredibly peaceful. His garden is really a part of him. Also I would like to adopt this man as my grandpa. He is so knowledgable and so easy to listen to. Wish him all the luck.
That video is made with so much passion, it is truly a work of art itself. The fact that you kept the original voice of the Paolo Pejrone and only used translated subtitles is very classy, also shots themselves are utterly breathtaking. I'm in love with how this video has been made. Fully and truly beautiful job!
"qui tutto ha uno senso.. almeno per me" fantastic expression to end the video. A facinating home and lovely garden with all of this gentlemans magical memories decorating them.
We each move through time and space, ever experiencing so many colors and endless shades of light and dark. We each on this ever unfolding journey become the architects, of our own thoughts dreams and inner desires...... This wonderful home of images lovingly shared, is the beating heart of one soul, an individual soul..... Who has.................. Lived*
Sono nata e viivo in Australia ma mezzo di mio cuore e rimasto in Italia. Quanti belli anziani che ho incontrato in Italia! Grazie per questo bellissimo film.
How Enchanting! It does not get any better than this. He is the Ultimate Gardener of a Beautiful Life 🌺💐💖 the chickens and roosters, the birds and the dogs and the whole lovely place: One could live there and never leave and be content.
Beautiful! God bless this man , and all the beauty that surrounds him , all blessings from our one Lord, Creator of all that's beautiful!!! Grazie mille, signore gentile 🙏🙏🙏
Oh, dear, no longer romantic in these ways myself, I could not but think of the people who might make his coffee, clean his dishes, dust his stuff, do his laundry, perhaps prepare his meals, vacuum his rugs etc. Each life time we have a different experience, I understand. It is a very nice video. thank you for sharing. Glad this appears to have been a nice life for him.
Thank you so much for showing me your beautiful garden it opens up so many questions about your life and the life of the ones that you have known in this garden
