Well that's impressive, i've driven almost all those tracks you've done so far in a modified 110 but with a group of 3 to 5 other rigs, doing it solo is another story, with minimal spotting, monkey gum and whitemans lane in the wet and then finish off with widowmaker 10/10. Not sure if you are already back from the cape but if you want a real adventure try and get to the Lockhart River OLD town site ;)
Man your motivating me to finish my perentie. So good to see the landy tackling some good tracks. Only thing I'd say for video quality is to back off the music volume just a touch. Then again could just me, either way another mint video
@@lind0865 thanks for the advice mate still learning how to edit them. Might just be my ears haha the perentie tends to make you deaf is you drive it to much
Nicely Done . Fairly Budget rig that puts MANY to shame . Is that with the Isuzu 3.9 Turbo or something else . Certainly a Tractor Engine in terms of Lowdown .
@@myarmytruck . OK . I know SOME Perenties came with the " Old " Ratio . Better for the driveline . I am currently rebuilding my Old Series 3 , and I intend to keep that 4.7 ratio .
Great Vids! Hey asking for a friend....other than upgrades to your wheels, tyres and diff lockers, have you done anything to your overall suspension and height or is she stock standard and original from the ADF? many thanks! keep posting!
@@yolundadelorenzo6840 has some longer than standard shocks but sits on standard coils. Going to film a rig rundown to document all the mods I have done
My main tip would be to go out to your local play area, somewhere with a few different obstacles and lines to choose from, solo or in a small group without peer pressure, and take the time to understand how your car behaves on different types of terrain. Doing this will help you understand the limitations of your car and where your money in mods is best spent and how different lines up obstacles change how the car handles. Also fitting a winch would be one of the first mods I would make to a car if you are wanting to learn how to 4wd better as you can try lines and always safely get yourself unstuck. This was one of the first mods I did to the perentie and it allowed me to push the car and find the limits safely.
@@myarmytruck awesome stuff. thanks mate!! That’s a really good point about the winch and makes total sense when I think about it. Up the list of priority mods it goes! Ive been starting out doing easy trails by myself on highway terrains haha. Finally getting some good all terrains this week so very keen to get out there and learn on harder stuff. Thanks again for the great tips 🙏
