What a great ride, will have to one of these days head to EU and do a few good mountain rides ourselves, was good to meet the Mrs Flyer also and your friends , we have a 2014 R1200RT-LC and love it , about to have the 60 K service, we have also some great rides here in Australia, we are lucky and do the Great Ocean road and the Great Alpine Road several times a year. :-) Cheers from John & Tanina

I ride with hi viz vest more often than not. Once had a car driver mention while filling up that they appreciated me wearing hi viz. They said it made it much easier to see me. I’ve also added the Helite airbag jacket. In all but very hot days, it’s pleasant to ride with. I’m concerned about c-spine protection in an crash and never could find a brace that was comfortable. Helite’s jacket provides that protection and doesn’t limit my limited 63y/o neck rotation ability:) Keep riding, keep smiling. Every day riding is a gift.

You went a different way to what i thought, that i mentioned in the last video. When you got to Estapona. There was one road before the one you took, that comes out at Algatocin, you passed by later in the ride. If you do ever have a spare day when you are down here again, give us a shout. Cheers Lee

Andy, it is fantastic & my back garden too. The road you missed out is stunning with a massive fresh water lake, the locals use it at weekends for family days out. Mirador simply means a viewpoint, that's why you see it often. Great times, happy days. 👍

I was riding from Santander to Xàbia around the same time and it was rainy and cold. 5C in the mornings, better on the way back, sunny afternoons and no rain but still cold misty mornings over 1000 metres. Better to be in southern Spain for sure.

7°C and rain; tomorrow the same. Too dangerous to ride off the main roads due to wet leaves everywhere. Beautiful place. I say it again: you fortunate guy. I always wear a high viz vest over my jacket when I’m driving on motorways. I have a white bike and in combination with that vest makes car drivers much more careful I noticed. They probably think I’m a police biker on an unmarked bike. They often don’t dare to overtake me 😋. I always use thermal underclothing, summer and winter. It keeps you dry and cooler in summer. Real black olives, not the black painted green ones, are tasty. Healthy food in Spain. I’ve seen you eat worse in th UK. Magnificent views at the end of the clip.

Magnificent views - wow. Just enjoyable to watch and Ms. Flyer is lovely. As I watch this we are getting 5" of snow here in Michigan. Sigh. I appreciate you sharing this as I huddle inside trying to stay warm while my bike sits lonely in the garage.

Great video buddy. The Spanish aren’t very inventive with village names casa means house, it’s the same with. Costa del Sol meaning coast of the sun ☀️ thanks gain ✌️
