"Moooom I'm in a Simsie video!" I was just chilling remodeling the Goth house for my legacy save and I started to get gallery notis. Didn't think anything of it until I started to watch. These creators have the patience of a saint. I have tried things like this but get so frustrated. I just don't have the patience to place hundreds of little rocks to make a wall. Seeing these is very de-motivational.

The yellow house definitely gives me lesbians with their twins and teenage child vibes. They had the teen then wanted another child so they get a surrogate and surprise it’s twins so they wanted a bigger house so they moved to this house that started out as a fixer-upper and turned it into this haven. Idk maybe that’s just me.

I've been playing this game for so long, but my buildings look like awkward boxes. They haven't changed much from those I used to make at the age of 12... Gosh, I'm so impressed by skills of some simmers.

Honestly thought I was the only one dealing with the evergreen harbor bug. I took my sim on a date there and was so shocked to see the void. I just left, thinking it was some glitch. I never went back but I didn’t think it was a legit problem and for other people too.

This was such a fun challenge- I did it while in isolation with a mild case of covid and it truly filled up my cup (not to mention gave me a much needed distraction!). So fun to see how everyone else interpreted the shell!

When she does them she tours them in stream and then she’ll upload touring them a week or 2 later but turn your notifications on so you don’t miss it.

This is reminding me of how difficult and glitchy it is to build on console. I cannot put a roof on my 2-story house and Dream Home Decorator is almost impossible. I wish I could build like this. Edit* I used to be able to roof, but since DHD its been weird. Got so disheartened I stopped playing. Maybe an update fixed it by now....

The Modern Artisan reminds me of that one house in Sunset Valley in The Sims 3. I kept getting career gigs there, and I liked how it used mezzanines.

Watching these has made me understand my builds will never be good because I'm on console so no mods & only use moveobjects since it doesn't count as a cheat. Also I lack talent. At least I still enjoy the process.

Can you use debug and showhiddenobjects on console?

@@luizamarangoni8200 if you turn on cheats you can use debug, but then you can't get acheivements. Move objects can be used without doing testing cheats on. So for this shell I did a community space. I used move objects, but there is no debug/mods/cc. I just typically use a lot if packs. i figure i might as well use whatever i want since i paid for it. You can also download builds that use debug, but if you delete a debug item you can't get it back. I did a james turner shell where he had debug items and you can see i kept some on my build.

I wish I could've finished mine, it was going to be a cat café and bar LOL (because it sort of looks like a fish...) but I NEVER finish shell challenges because I get confused with layouts ಥ‿ಥ Everyone did so good, though!! I'm going to look through the tag and maybe get some inspiration to try and finish mine !!

Random sims related thought of the day: You know what i wish the sims four would do. To let you make in game Airbnb. Like you choose the price and design the lot or section of your residential lot and make bank. And don’t make it a rabbit hole. Like build it. I would melt knowing that I can do that. Like please take my money EA. Any other thoughts?

Kayak! If you always wonder how people make things for your shells, or how people build, why not ask? You could try reaching out to the creators somehow, or ask them to tweet you, etc. If they permitted it, they could give you walkthroughs, answer questions, etc. I'd personally LOVE videos where they explain things. And you clearly already like the builds since you featured them in a video. 😊 Just an idea. Would be fun content.

I HATE when builders use glasses, plates etc. After a while they start to stink and I just can't find which of these damn plates makes my sim uncomfortable 24/7. Sure, it's awesome when just looking at their build, but insanely impractical in normal gameplay

I adored the "Woody wood-Base Game" so I got it and was actually quite disappointed it was barely playable. None of the tubs were accessible, the double bed wasn't accessible, you couldn't mop in some places under the shelving, and I realize it's a base-game house but I have Seasons so the outside stereo broke immediately with the rain... It's my first time getting a nice house off the gallery, are all these fancy built houses like this?

I have a challenge idea... EA renovation but you can't move the existing furniture (maybe you can swap a couch for another couch rather than using the original style); you can change swatches to match the theme of the house and add clutter but original placements must remain 🤔 I thought about this at 4am and it may not be a good idea lol

hi can u make a vid where u spin a wheel that indicates how many packs u have to use for each room like example u spinned 5 packs for a bathroom u have to at least add 1-2 things from the pack if you ONLY spun too much packs for a room.

I was trying to finish my version of the shell challenge but I got Covid and the flu and once than pneumonia right after so I’ve been sick for like 3 weeks. ☹️ I did that weird wall as a coffee bar wall
