@@R-sn1ty Not full of tourists, honest people, better food and at better prices. More of a normal vibe, instead of international stuff kicking about and nomads n pretentious coffee shops.
I was there for many months very recently and the noice was unnoticeable to me. I was too engrossed with the beauty, wonderful people, culture of Da Nang and delicious food
Wow you look so big sitting behind that tiny Vietnamese Grab driver . While in Danang you should also try Bo Ne , Banh Dâp , Banh Xeo , Nem Lui , Ram and Thit Luoc Châm Mam Nêm . Bun Bo Danang is less spicy and less smelly than BB Huê .120 K VND for that T-shirt is not cheap but not too expensive either . Mong is buttock so thit mong means buttock meat . The Mi Quang lady said that she is a Quang Nam native ( district of Dia Ban ) . She opened that restaurant just more than 10 years ago . But normally she is selling MI Quang and Cao Lâu in Hoi An for over 20 years . Danang and Huê are safer than Saigon and Hanoi .
Hey, with your Vietnamese being pretty solid now, you can really roam around the local neighborhood without any reservation. Good on you. We really love and miss Da Nang. Hell, we miss VN altogether.
The lady selling noodles said: she has been selling noodles for over 20 years. Before, she sold noodles in Hoi An, but only came here a few years ago. I live in Saigon and sometimes get confused because of the central region dialect, don't tell me anything 😅
Bruh. Her accent is not strong…I’ve been living abroad for almost 50 hrs and my accent is much stronger than hers when speaking it to my family….we change our accent when communicating to friends and the public 😂
Whoa, your Viet and especially also pronounciation and "life-likeness" is super good. I've started to learn and find it so hard, you'll be my aspirational example now haha. Was really nice seeing how happy people were hearing you speak a bit of their language. Would like to also get some smiles like that in the future. And Da Nang is just so great to live, which is why I've settled here as well. Take care! :)
Thanks for your video. You speak Vietnamese so well. Da Nang is my hometown, and I left in 1975. I watch your video to preview Danang before visiting DN soon. Mi Quang at restaurant served by Vietnamese lady look so good. So many friendly people there. I would request her to change a new glove for safety.
Her accent is just hard to understand even though she speaks vietnamese. Don't be afraid to practice your vietnamese, and if you don't pronounce correctly, people will help. This is a perfect opportunity for you to learn a new language when you interact with the local people. Best of luck.
i think you are onto something for moving there from what i have seen in other u tubers and the community. not near the smog, beach at hand, and good food plus there should be nice and reasonable places to rent. for the most part probably a lot less traffic overall. sure would like to visit but; there is no way darn it. good luck. say-because of the slight change in dialect you may need to find another teacher to help you out for awhile.
Why don't you come visit Dien Ngoc, located between Da Nang and Hoi An along the beach road just behind CocoBay. It's very quiet and very affordable. We have 3 new hotels and plenty of local shops. I've been living here for 6 years and I love it here. Let me know and I can show you around.
Another great video, Tyler! A quick question: I'm traveling from Bangkok to Da Nang in a week and need to have a replacement ATM card shipped to me from California. Do to circumstances I'll likely be limited to larger carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc). Do you have any recommendations for which one to use, with certainty of delivery being a priority above cost? Any help is greatly appreciated! 😊
She answered your question what is in special order *thịt heo mông* that you could not understand it. 😂. It is the pig buttock the favorite part that most of vn people see it as lean meat.
Thank you. I'll be there in two weeks, staying in VN for two months. :) The American way. Ask for something special, then not really care. :) Saigon is like Los Angeles, but bigger. My VN evisa came through today. I'll be eating my way through Vietnam. About two weeks in Da Nang, then south to the first Vietnam Pickleball Tournament outside Saigon. By the end of the video, I understand why you bought more shirts. ;)
I just have random questions....1) Is there tipping at eateries, massages, ride shares, etc... 2) Have you ever rated anything 10? 3) Who takes care of your cat while you're traveling?
@@neyler9314 tipping is optional but I usually tip a drivers, deliveries, massage, haircuts. I don’t tip often at a restaurant or bar. I have never rated anything a 10…yet. Frosty (the cat) was adopted by a family friend of Trang’s and is now living happily with a new owner and two cat siblings.
Plz visit vietnams hidden temples in the mountains damn that 1st lady spoke hella english lol. Bro u better wash those clothes yourself 😂 stomp on it with ur feet sheesh😮
just so you know with all that empty carbs and very little protein. you will always be starving for more. the flavor and taste of the food will be awesome. enjoy
Do u drive scooters? 🛵 Im coming to Da Nang in January 24th, and trying to find out how to drive a 50cc legally? So hard to find answers on google. Do u know what it takes?
You are eating it the wrong way! You should put the rice paper and put the sauce on the rice paper, the rice paper will be soft and have the taste of Quang noodles.
Man I've been having such a hard time learning Vietnamese is Da Nang we have a mix of northern, southern and central dialect here I can't pick up what anyone is saying. When I hang out with a big group of locals they spend half the time making fun of each others dialect haha
I go to the beech also. But usually I walk away from the beech to where the people work, eat , and live 👍They are a self sustaining entity unto themselves. Hard work and busy.
From your videos the food and rent and cloths is really cheap...you can get planet fitness in the US for $10 to $15 a month...but who buys and wears a watch anymore? Lol
Hey, I remembered watching your videos when I was going to visit Vietnam around this time last year. Time flies. I just saw your channel again so I checked out the video. One thing I noticed was you looked healthier in this video. Your Vietnamese pronunciation is also much better! I really enjoyed your videos! Keep going!🎉
