I just bought the original one and would like to know if the gel refill fits in the original pen as well. Thanks! *Clearly didn’t watch the full video before asking this question* I got too excited seeing there was a potential gel refill. Beautiful pens.
No, these two don't have interchangeable refills, so it doesn't work to use the gel refill from the new brass body in the original wooden body one sadly.
I love it, it looks so beautiful, I have one of the original Mark's Inc. Tous Les Jours Pen and I don´t know if it is because I live in a tropical country or what, but the ink inside the pen came out dry, luckily i bought a refill too, but it dried in few months before I could use it entirely, maybe now that the ink is gel it might be different. (excuse my english) I love the store.
The fine needle-tip ballpoints can get 'clogged' from paper debris quite easily as well, so that could be a culprit. I have found this to happen to some of mine also. The gel is thicker and I think you'd find it smoother and definitely less dry!
