Sorry, to repeat it, but just in case you can not find it or it doesn't follow this video directly for you as it does for me. So here was my comment. Sorry, but I have a question off topic from your video which is very helpful. While studying French in Tours I had a French teacher who suggested using a pen or pencil to help with French diction. She suggested putting it in the mouth and reading out loud. One problem I have is I can't remember how to put it in my mouth, across it holding it with my teeth, or like a straw. Before sending this video I decided to google using a pen or pencil for better French pronunciation and in fact, it does seem to be a suggested method but in a way different that I do it. There are even videos on RU-vid for this.

@@EasyFrench I wrote 'using a pen or pencil for pronunciation' in the search section of RU-vid and I got some videos mainly for improving English pronunciation though the person who suggested it to me was a French woman who taught French a la Institute de Touraine. I thought like you, that could be great for the 'u' sound and I've done it that way, but most videos have the pen across the mouth which I find also forces the lips to move forward and really work for the 'u' sound. It also helps the Parisian guttural sound in words like très and rouge. Who knows, this could be a lot about a little. Thanks for responding and you ladies are doing a great job. Any videos on French gestures? Accents are so difficult to change especially as an adult. I try not to worry too much about mine. Plus I love accents; they can have so much charm. Funny, I've often though that using a straw a lot could help with the French U. A side note. My best friend (US) came to visit me in Tours in 1983, shortly after that I left for Spain. That friend is still in France (Pau) all these years later. He's never returning to live in the US. His French son is my godson. La prochaine fois je vais écrire en français. Tengo que admitir que me sale más fácil escribir en español.

Paul pilard Ce n’était pas ma question. “Les fromages? Oui, je les aime touS”. Le “s” se prononce ici, non? PAR CONTRE “J’aime touS les fromages.” Dans ce cas, le “s” est muet, je crois.
