I've been living alone for several weeks now, after several months of isolation in previous years. My way of coping was HBr & DP/DR. Shit works, what's a problem when there's no you. Still, not the healthiest cope. Things were starting to look up as I joined uni but there was always the tinge of unanswered or unadressed issues from that time which coloured every interaction of mine. This song covered it essentially in the lyrics. Fast forward to today and I've been spending several weeks living on my own and that means I've spent a good half of my last teen years in isolation even though I'm in love with people. This slowed down version really kills if it can make me think of all this.
