Can we do a preowned Awards based on costs.. Best Tow car for under £2000 or £4000. Not all of us can afford cars like these?

Let's be honest, on any campsite, how often do you see a new car and caravan combo?

It's good to see some petrols in there. I tow an Alpine 4, mptlm 1250 with a 1.5 petrol turbo and the car has no real difficulty pulling it, a quite relaxing drive, obviously it's never going to be as good as a a large diesel but all in all im very happy with it.

Copy and paste again. Who wants to pay many many thousands for a tow car.

why do you not test with the caravans we buy, I have noticed on each caravan the alko hitch stabiliser has been removed. WHY. nobody asks for this to be removed when buying a caravan. what is the reason for this.

It’s that time again lads

I am surprised maybe even concerned at the reviews this year. How can VW Tourareg, Audi SQ8 get top rankings with no mention that the factory fit towball with tow assist cannot be used with any Alko stabilisers. Indeed if you do the sensor ring on the towball will wear, break and can even lead to sudden total loss of control. Great pay between 50 and 70k for something that cannot tow most caravans in UK that have an Alko friction stabiliser and could kill you if you did not know the issue. No Volvo XC90 to test this year for comparison? Did the VAG group not want such a test ? Sorry but your comparisons and advice have gone to zero credibility for me despite being a current member.

And for the wast majority who doesn’t buy new ? How about a 5yo car ? Or a 10 yo car?
