These holders are popular and may apply to the holders you guys have. I did a simple DIY to fix the issue in about 5 minutes. If you guys have ones below do this DIY!

If you guys need to buy screws go to Mcmaster.com and sift through their massive hardware offering. drill bit used was 3/32.

I have a license plate relocation kit for my Lexus. Got it from Grimmspeed and never had a problem with it rocking like that. Thanks for the video.

that is a very nice kit well designed, granted 3 times the price but i would buy it, they do not offer for Q50 thats why the one we got is what always showed up in the search que.

Frank Cardenas same for my 350. paid a little more, but its very adjustable. highly recommended.

I have the stillen relocater and it came with a washer that has these little indents in it and it kinda digs into the metal when you tighten it so that dont happen. But if you ask me it was way over priced for what it is.

Great video! Too bad my car also got plate holder in the center. I know that these Q50 comes with Scratch Shield Paint. There aren't many people talking about this. But I find my 2017 Q50 Red Sport with Pearl White holding itself pretty good, considering it's a short-term lease for me and I put it thru Non-Touchless Car Wash very often. Hope you can look into the Scratch Shield Paint and maybe do a video about it. Thanks.

yeah most new cars are using new clearcoats these days i am very familiar with them and sanding and polishing them out.

STOP 🛑 ✋ !!! Before drilling another hole has anybody used an External use Lock Washer, or just a lock washer, or at least just an extra washer??? I’m no professional but I am quite handy with tools, and this just seems so extra to drill a whole other screw into the body of another gorgeous Infiniti Q

I dint have a hole. mine just has foam underneath the tow hook plastic cover😥

I drove around with no front plate for almost an entire year. I always keep it in my car with the story that it just fell off and I’m on my way to fix it. Then one day I get pulled over and get a $50 ticket. Cop didn’t buy my story.

Did you ever think about leaving the tow hook in there for cosmetic looks? I seen some guy with it the other day not sure if I like it or not but definitely different.

That mount isn’t good everyone gets that one and it moves around if you go to CRAVENSPEED they have a license plate tag mount I got one for my car very good quality and never moves check it out

that really sucks to hear, Mercedes did the same on my E63 years back i fought like hell the pulled another bumper off another car because i didn't want my car in the body shop with all the overspray you get, plus the car was black. When i buy new cars today i always open the trunk and take the plate holder and screws with me and make sure they put a note on the contract and window to not drill.

cops around here break balls way to much these days, i refuse to put one on my cars but the wife likes to play by the rules, she was pulled over 4 times and i had to give in, happy wife = happy life, her car ha ha ha
