I've mentioned this on a couple other 2024 videos, NO ONE is talking about the tailgate where if you have a hitch in the receiver and press the drop down.... it will... and drop right on the hitch and cause thousands in damage to repair. Even worse is it can be done via the remote control! Why is there no push back on GMC to repair a glaringly major design flaw? Full disclosure, I am building a 2024 ultimate, but still, this should be an addressed issue yet no one seems to care.... why is that?
@@mattie3595 Sounds like a temporary workaround, but besides your feedback, how many people actually would even know to do that? It is, in my opinion, a real bad design flaw that needs to be addressed. I only know about it from someone who pointed it out to me when we were discussing his 3500hd towing his Airstream. Thanks for the response and workaround.
@@chrisbertrand2969 Agree fully.... Waiting on my 6th D-Max. A 2024 AT4 HD. Not sure what else to do about the multi-pro. I leave my drawbar in 100% of the time. Just gonna have to disable the multi-pro & be super careful.
I bought new trucks for 30 years..... never will again by VIN # (do the math on that) and the fact that 95% are basically golf carts. When your truck comes with cars tires, a dial so you dumbassass can back a your boat and haul around your fat kids.....it''s kinda a shame to truck owners.
