Selly said that word in the Scrims after he defeated Cpt then proceed to say "ez" and "gumi" I think

@HTT I only know Selly from previous competitions and the fact that his channel is well, in Japanese. Kinda taken aback that I only recently now knew he's Korean.

It's hard to say at this point, they did talk about their weapon choices, and it was Bora who suggested Towa using Mastiff while she has shown inclination towards EVA before the scrims. Basically, their loadouts are not their choices alone. She could use 301 even before her tournament days, but Bora also uses it so she would prioritize giving it to Bora.

Rather than strictly SMG or R99 alone, it's probably more like any full auto with some order of preference. Roughly like this: R99=R301=Volt > everything else that is full auto If Towa improves her recoil control with other weapons, I think she should definitely pick up the Spitfire or Flatline. The TTK for Spitfire seems to be insanely quick. Towa probably doesn't have confidence with sniper and marksman weapons, so G7 might be out. Mastiff is a definite pair with Gibraltar due to how he could force fights into close range. With the peekaboo nature of dome fights, higher alpha damage is king. Also, Mastiff might be easier to use than PK. I've heard others say EVA-8 is a little bit harder to be effective with.

Also selly said that the team is heavy on being aggressive and pushing enemies so that's way is perfect for mastif + r99 rather than sniper or g7

@@Kensuke0987 Mastiff is definitely the go-to for Gibby, due to dome and his shield. Though with the PK back in the normal loot pool thats also an option. Eva-8 is more of hip-fire weapon (no choke benefit in ADS), so its a no for gib. What really feels weird to me is the R99/Volt. Both are SMGs and they don't fit well into Gib. Especially the 99 as you're probably done with your mag before the shield even gets put up. That said, maybe a Flatline or Hemlock would be something she could don. She already has a Mastiff for pushing fights.

@@definitelycultured7521 I mean it is the truth. We haven't seen Botan play apex yet(so she's not counted), but the others are actually just diamond 4 tier(there's a HUGE difference between those who grind in d3+ and those who stay at d4) and below. Their aim, movement, looting, and rotation skills are really below Aqua's(who I'd say is rightfully at low Master tier, same case with diamonds in the sense that there's a huge gap between those who grind there and those who just stop after reaching it). I'm not hating on anyone, I'd really love to see them all improve and hopefully join the tournaments as well(not just cr cup, but it's wishful thinking due to them being idols and having other things to do) but currently, Aqua's the only one who I'd say is consistently good enough to the point where she won't have times where she's a liability to the team, that is if she can overcome her communication issues. And no, I'm not counting Holostars since we're strictly speaking in Hololive only.

@@user-jj3md1fv7c Yeah I agree with you, even Aqua looks like amateur infront of the likes of Bora, Qualia or ShibuyaHal cause these players are actually too good compares to Hololive Apex player (I love watching Aqua and Towa cause they're cute but still there's a gap between them and the likes of Bora and Selee for sure)

@@sweetlife2848 Nah, Pk is beyond inconsistent, and you have to land more shots with Eva, Mastiff stil very much lives.

@@goku_dunker_420 Isn't Mastiff the inconsistent one, even before the nerf it was meme about that either you're gonna hit for 13 or 2 shot an enemy even with purple armor. As for the Eva, even though it has lower damage than a pk and a mastiff, it also has a faster rate of fire, thus its dps is higher than mastiff and pk.

@@sweetlife2848 Because you actually need to aim with the mastiff... You cannot do much DMG unless you hit all the pellets, which is easy as the mastiffs spread is designed that way.
