It’s a shame tbh, I love Jesters boss design but his hero’s so bad, it almost feels like the final boss when you fight him vs when you unlock him (the boss is pretty easy but still)
@Cotton candy when the tower literally meant for just area damage can take down the meant to be second hardest map by ITSELF, you know it needs a rebalance.
Without jester I can barely max my defense, despite farming to the max. Same tactic but with a jester, I can max my defense get 2 discount dog boosts and have plenty of mana to share, potentially to a stella user. I think he's really good just from the mana but he does ok damage on his own.

Hopefully they actually buff jester and make it more towards you getting a summon or just anything in general so that more people will use jester more often. *BUT LET’S BE HONEST HERE*
Jester already has a high positive chance. Its just that him being a powerful mana source isn't the trendy strength of dps that branch or scientist have.
The bad luck isn't even that harmful, to me. Summoners already suck so negative effects won't matter. His enemies are free mana, if you max him after some attackers are maxed. Mana lose is half the effect of mana gain. I can clearly see on the max jester wheel that good stuff has a bigger chance. The 2 speed up negative effects may be scary, but he has 3 stuns and a slow. He's more like a very powerful late game mana source thats ok for harm. Don't use if you won't be having stella or discount/both
I think they should rework Jester to always give a random debuff but give you double mana during that debuff or just give you a good amount of mana the skins and description will still fit but Jester will just become the 2nd mana unit (that is reliable because the Jester we have right now technically gives mana)
Personally, Jester is good as long as it doesn’t destroy your early game by stealing mana or screw you over. The radiation and burns on allies don’t really do anything unless its a King Slime, Bomb Float or Jackpot summon. Besides from that, mana stealing is manageable, Freeze is mostly annoying, and enemy spawn is useless is ignorable except for early game ghosts.

I feel like a nice way to buff jester would be to set its limit to 3, decrease its prices, and have it not be able to do negative effects, its attack would be rolling whatever its holding onto the ground dealing damage as it rolls then exploding into a summon
I'm asking for death, then. And 2 discount dog boosts alongside my expensive defense. I wouldn't use him early, ever. If I place him its to max him because thats when he's really good.
Had a castle town run on hard using all summoners A giant slime approached the castle but I had a healed up Oddport demolishing it It was on 20 health and was gonna go in (I had plenty of health to leak) *jester rolled enemy heal*
Slime king is just better than most of the towers you get from defeating bosses fr for example (fracture,odd port academy,branch exc) slime king is just being better than these (imo) is insane lol
would wizard be good if you had two people that have different decks made to max wizard. this mean other than wizard all other towers at to buff wizard or make money. Ex: -P1 wizard, Stella, slime, specter, lemon cat -P2 lemon cat, Stella, balloon pal, discount dog, byte. sell Stella's drawing

Also hes not even that bad because even if you get a negative effect,he also hurts the enemies. If you roll summons stun(which doesn't even hurt you) he also stuns some of the enemies. If you get sparkle or Something to hurt your summons, he also hurts the enemeis like that,the only bad THING ABout him is enemy heal and losing mana.

The fact that I need additional defense because the tower cant handle basic level enemies on its own makes it immediately bad. Just go into sandbox and test out 2-3 jesters vs every other summon. Might change your mind
