One of my favorite parts about Hatz is his heart and his skills. Loved how he follows through the Revolution plan and held down a ranker (even though it was very stupid). And in the latest chapter where he ignites Donghae was beautiful, especially when the sword he ignited could’ve killed him but he did it anyways. love this character

To be honest, it was a risky plan but he successfully held a ranker in place for long enough for the spear bearers to take a shot, the ranker even panics for a moment before realising his team abandoned him. Quant even commends him for it and shows irritation at the spear bearers for betraying their teammate. If they hadn't abandoned him they could have possibly put him in a bad situation (only since he was restricted due to the rules)

Hatz is one of Bams youngest friends being 18yo on at the start. Much younger than the centuries Khun and Anak have lived. I really want to see how Hatz improves his swordsmanship with White's tips. Maybe he'll beat an Arie family member someday.

I'd like to see Hatz using flying sword again, it's much cooler and unique than just normal swordsmanship. The only time I don't like Hatz is when he tried to chop off Khun's arm, that's going to far for a friends quarrel.

Hatz is the GOAT. Glad someone else appreciates such a cool character. Also I really hope Cha trains him at some point during a time skip so he can become much stronger. Cha is a perfect teacher for Hatz, seeing as how White is just too evil to train someone as pure as Hatz.

One aspect about Hatz that I didn’t see you mention is that we were told very early on (ch 16) that outside of the Arie family, nobody uses swords on the higher floors of the tower. But it is very obvious that Hatz doesn’t intend to stop using swords. I think White clearly sees something in him, there is no reason he would give advice otherwise. That totally fits into his hardworking nature that you mentioned though.

I really hope he does a video about Shibisu. To me one of my favorite characters. I actually like him much more than Anaak and Hatz. Also, think of him as more useful. I like smart characters. He is extremely smart and makes wise decisions and is a great leader. Also funny that he still has a deathly kick as his attack.

Btw the reason donghae has the power to remove "status effects" is because it is an ignition weapon. Ignition weapons have souls bound to them with a spell which is very strong. Kendricks daze spell was destroyed because the spell on donghae was stronger. Example of this happening is when Yuri canceled the immortalized spell with black march and April.

The man deadass has a sword that only helps the weak sooooo I wonder how that will affect him considering the fact he can't get to strong but he also can't get to weak maybe he will get another ignition weapon that's boastful to help him when he strong.....btw his swordsmanship needs hella work if he gonna go toe to toe with these rankers fr doe he isn't the strongest outta the group when it comes to bams squad he is truly one to look out for but truly I think that he needs another ignition weapon to be stronger and to master his shinsu control

Alright let me rephrase this. The Korean word "Dogong" means Potter or Swordsmith. Hatsu said his father is a dogong. So in terms of semantics "Blacksmith" is wrong

Hatsu has been one of my favorite characters since season 1. it's hard to not like someone who works hard and defends their friends. reminds me of Rock Lee but a lot more fashionable lol i'm glad that SIU has found relatively believable ways to give characters like Hatsu, Khun, & Rak power-ups to keep up with Baam that didn't feel contrived.

Can u make predictions about who will fight who? I'm interested for example how strong that one guy is the new waifu warned us about and mentioned she didn't wanna become 'one' with yet If he is really going towards Baam like he said he'll be a problem and i have a feeling he is on White's level and might even fight White because he doesn't want someone else to kill Baam

theory:bam is not a regular also he is not an irregular, rachel is irregular since she was not chosen by the tower and not belonged from the tower initially and regulars are people born in the tower bam on the other hand is chosen by the tower and also is from outside the tower hence he should not be considered an irregular or regular

Wrong. An irregular is someone from outside the tower who opens the door to the tower and Baam is exactly that. Rachael is not considered irregular because even though she is from outside the tower, she did not open the door.

is it just me or hatz is most likely has a connection to ashul edwaru mostly because he was called the son of a blacksmith and we all know ashul edwaru was the only person who was referred as the blacksmith and for having a japanese theme on hatz design and we know that all the 13 month series has a japanese characters engraved to them

Personally I think "Hatsu" sounds better and more fitting rather than the other translation "Hatz", cause Hatz sounds like a Halloween pretzel brand and Hatsu sounds more warrior like. It's just opinion though

I completely disagree. He is at probably B ranked regular level or strong C-ranked regular level. And I would not count that sword because we do not even know if he can use the sword all the time.

On the wiki it’s stated that his father was a potter, not a blacksmith. Though there is no reference to where that statements comes from. But to say that his father is a blacksmith is not correct

One of the stronger C-rank regular definitely. But not sure if he can even pass as top 10 C-rank since there might be some random jahad princess / regular from 10 family. And there's still Baragav, Elaine, Androssi, etc. For now he can only use DongHae once, so he still hasn't got a proper power up yet.
