There are no plot-relevant spoilers in this video, so enjoy! Also check out this video where I explain what Shinsu is: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WNqduOFDPmY.html - - - - - This video is based on the source material so there is some additional information that you may have not come across yet, but there are no plot-relevant spoilers. Anyway what is your favourite position? What would you want to be? Can you think of anymore characters from other series and which Position would suit them?
@@TrebbleBucket Lightbearer and Guide is an interesting choice, nice! Wave controller is my favourite. I think we follow our intuition in our day to day lives a lot, sometimes there's no real intelligence behind it, but you just feel like you made the right choice. Also I was referring to characters from other anime series, and which Position you think they will fall under best. I just edited my comment to make it clearer.
@@TrebbleBucket Hmm. I watched FMAB a long time ago so I don't remember all the details. I don't think they can change fire into water, or wood into metal for example. I think they change the form/shape not the substance. I could be wrong though.
Notice the names have connections to Fishing or you can apply them in a fishing context. The Scout finds and identifies the fish as well as any potential dangers like rocks, waves, or sharks. The Light Bearer uses a light house to illuminate things and direct the crew to the fish as well as how they should approach the situation. The Fishermen goes to do the main fishing. The Spear Bearer supports the fishermen by doing their own fishing and helping the fisherman when they reel in the larger fish. The Wave Controller literally controls the waves to manipulate the water, fish, and the ship to guide the flow of everything. Now of course its noteworthy that most people dip into multiple roles which does confuse things sometimes.
Amazing video and analysis brother! I think I would be Scout, as you said "Observation Haki" was always one of the coolest thing I've seen out of One Piece.
Just to clarify, there are many type of weapons within the tower like swords, needles, hooks, reels, and spears are the main weapons used. All positions in the tower also has some relation to water since Shinsoo is the term for saying “Divine Water”. Btw, the Green April is a hook type weapon
Thanks for clarifying! Yeah the Green April does look like a Hook type weapon, for some reason I can't find any reference saying it is one, but we did see Anaak using it with the Reel thing
@@randomroyale6763 Yeah I just looked up Green April and they do say it is a Hook weapon on there, but I couldn't find any solid reference to it. I don't know where they are getting the info from
AnimeTalks101 though I can’t say there is any solid reference to them, all I can tell you is that besides from the normal TOG Webtoon readings, SIU (the creator/author) makes many blog posts about TOG information that is not covered in the original work form time to time, that is where most of this information comes from. The translations to his blog posts are usually in the Fandom websites at the bottom regarding TOG.
@@theoriginalnoc Lol, mainly because of the flexible role and damage output, and would love to fire a shinsu blast lol. Can you really call it magic? What's your favourite Position?
