I wanted the cheapest, full size, metal gear, 180° (!) RC servo you can get. I didn’t know back then that there are any other types of servos. And so I bought and reviewed a while ago the Tower Pro MG946R 360° (!) servo (link below).
But you learn from your mistakes (sometimes). So this time I got myself a Tower Pro MG995 180° (!) servo. Unfortunately it was a dud and I had to buy a second one that actually worked. It’s not a precision servo, but metal gear and powerful.
