Tow Truck Purge valve cheap replacement fail part was too small leaked and left me stranded but i was able to put the old part back and be just as f ""ed as beforehand lol. #fail #detroit
What are the symptoms of a bad purge valve. Mine is losing air pressure, and it spits a lot of air from underneath the air dryer. Wonder if it's this the problem.
@user-fm5rw2wf2c if it's coming out of the hole in the middle of the valve then it's probably the purge valve. I've seen them stick open it kind of sounds like a Harley Davidson motorcycle exhaust. Sometimes you can press the palm of your hand over the bottom so it creates a seal and it'll suck in and start working again temporary
Should have cleaned that inner bore a helluva lot better!!! You probably stabbed that o-ring when you were trying to install the snap ring. Don't blame parts on your lack of ability to install
