Thank you for making this vidoe. I do believe you are the only one who has done this. My husband and I plan to buy a van/boat and hit the road around 2028 or 2029.
Kudos to camera assistant Brev, caught his voice in the tight turn around segment of the video! Then he made a Cameo appearance!! Brother Brian you forgot to mention that when you're not not on tour you can make some pretty good folding money delivering for Fed-Ex on the side. The van does it all! Trick ride!!
Actually it’s not that bad. You can save a lot of money if you do it yourself. Some people want things professionally done and insured so if they crash it they won’t feel as bad compared to something that they hand made themselves
Impressive, I like it! I think it will work great for you, plus you may change the sport on how pro anglers haul their boats and live on the road. Cool
You'll for sure get your money out of it when you factor in the years of saving on renting houses and our hotel rooms on tour. Sounds like a solid investment man.
Dude, that is one sweet rig!! I've had that Sprinter and it's a perfect match for your tournament lifestyle, but a little tight when you start "hauling" the kids. Great for a single guy and spouse. Wishing you nothing but the best in 2022, kick some B-ass! I love to follow you.
Hi Brian, the video mentions GVWR, not towing capacity. Towing capacity for single rear wheel Sprinters is 5000 pounds, the dual rear wheel version is 7500 pounds.
I just drove through the Smokey Mt. Parkway yesterday and saw this same van and didn't get a look at the boat. Hope it wasn't you, I'd be kicking myself if it was. 🥲
Great video! Has me wanting something else that I'll never be able to afford at ~170k! Hope they gave you a MASSIVE discount for such a great (promotional) video. I'm sure there's plenty of people that do have the money for something like this and would give these vans a look after seeing this video!
Hey Brian, I love how you put it all together.🙌 I managed a Ford-Lincoln dealership for 28 years and trucks were my specialty, and that Sprinter and the 3.0Diesel is a great engine. Plus you’ve got the max mini van 😜😂😂 I can’t wait to check it all out at weighin next season. What size are the wheels on the sprinter, and are they off road tires🤷🏻♂️👏👏👏👏
That will tow that just fine, as long as you got some trailer brakes on that trailer and van you will have no problem, even without, that van has the weight behind it. You will be fine b.
So B, does your boat trailer have brakes as well? Does this make a bit of a difference as well? Would love to see that thing wrapped to match. Awesome awesome.
I have a Airstream Nineteen which is a competitor of Overland Storyteller. I’m currently using mine to launch my kayak(s). I’m very curious about your launching experience with your competition boat.
hey, would it be okay to use a screenshot from your youtube video of your boat on my blog boaterpal? I would of course give credit by linking to your youtube.
Nice van! My neighbor pulled an airstream with a similar model for his work. Hard to believe that little diesel has so much power. Will you be camping in it during the tournament season next year?
Hey Brian, this looks like the ultimate setup! So did you ever get to launch the boat? I was wondering how the Sprinter managed boat launching? Any concerns?
@@BrianLatimerFishing solo cold weather launching? Visibility? Just curious as I have been contemplating something like what you are using now. Typically launch from a truck.
Brian off topic your thoughts...Here is the problem with tech... and i own a tech comp.. and I back it up with other pro sports... sample in football don't all players have pads and helmet and tech to help win and nobody has one thing different than other teams... so if your at the pro level than all players ( anglers) have all tech and stuff that everyone has now if they choose not to use it or when to use it than thier is no excuse why they not in top 10 or win level the playing field like all spots than it comes down to time on water or decision making as a angler but One guy has it another don't cause of funds is WRONG PERIOD CRAZY THING IS ONLY SPORT THAT PAY OUTS HAS GONE DOWN IN 20 YEARS SAD NO NO PRO SHOULD HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT FUNDING OR GAS BILL OR SLEEP AT BOAT RAMP UNLESS HE OR SHE WANTS TO """" sorry for the book """
