Something tells me CJ is the kinda guy that throws him an attaboy frequently. I got one from my old man in my entire freakin life and it was at a point where I had failed and was back at square one. Never got the first one any time I should have 😂
I will give this kid credit he’s out there doing this on his own and he has a bright future. Watch 20 years from now this kid will be all set but still working hard love his work ethic n great attitude
With the amount of subscribers he's getting 20 years from now he will be raking at least 1 million per week in RU-vid and TikTok revenue, have a fleet of crab fisherman boats, owns a crab processing facility, and expanded his crab fishing business to other coasts.
53 yr old lady from Texas here. It’s on my bucket list to visit your area one day and I will definitely come by the Crab stand! I came across your channel scrolling one day a while back and was intrigued by seeing the process of crabbing and your awesome work ethic. You’re going to go far in life! Congrats.
This will be the best move you ever make. Get the new boat absolutely perfect. Don't cut corners and you will be so happy for years to come. You won't be chasing your tail with cobbled together junk. Happy for ya Luke!
Whoever did this to your boat is more than likely watching your videos and will be pissed when they see what a great vessel you you're wife and your crews turn it into. Stay positive and focused Luke... I'm rooting for you 👷🏽♂️💪🏽🙏🏽
@@ropeyzkittlez9703you the law would recognize this and would have contacted the previous owner. They had to know that it was being sold and where the boat was going to be docked. I would not have left that boat alone until it was safe in my home port
This boat will make you feel like a French Pole Vaulter! We got it. Congrats on the boat. All will work out in the end for good people like you and yours. Pulling for you for sure and will keep watching and spreading the word.
Like my grandma used to say; if someone gives you something for free that’s the value you place on it. You bust your butt to get what you have. Your work ethic is amazing. Thats why I watch your channel.
Looks like you're ready to use the Webo as a commercial C&C (catch and cook) crab boat were all these fans can pay you for a day on the water pulling your traps for you just for the experience. I'm sure once will be enough for most but they each get to take home a dozen crabs, and you get the over catch.
I was on Vacation from Alabama to Glen Burnie and I told my wife I'd go down and pressure wash pots for look for free 😂 but that was the weeks hos boat got messed up
Could be a good idea. Just depends on how much the licensing and liability insurance would cost. I'm pretty sure he would have to be licensed as a charter or tour boat to do that. TONS of costly regulations attached to that can of worms.
My Desperado t-shirt was delivered yesterday- can hardly wait to take it for a spin! Glad to be able to help! GO GET YOUR VERY OWN 'GOOD AS USED' SHIRT!! 😁
The old owner that wouldn’t bother driving to you with the excuse he didn’t have enough petrol in his car has some idea of what happened with the vandalism surely.
Well the one truly good thing is. You can make that boat the way you want. Yes, it will cost time and money. But once you are done, you will appreciate it way more. I can see the vision now. It's going to be the baddest crabbing boat on the bay.
@@Amy-iq7ddalong with yourself , there are hundreds of us that feel helpless to do anything for Luke . He is a strong young man with his ethics and strong will . All we can do to help is buy his merch and continue to follow his RU-vid page , and that is a given . I have nothing but great respect for this young man and his loving wife .
Luke if there was ever was a more deserving man a wife then its y’all. Everyone who watches your videos is with y’all. Prayers ,hugs, and admiration ! Always.
So working in the waste water industry what you mentioned about bypassed treatment is accurate, the biggest challenge we have in this industry is the people we serve, they can't see the systems so they don't want to spend the money to make repairs that are needed, the other large factor we run into is previous engineers said let's put the storm sewer run off into the waste water plants, those high flows make it difficult to process and treat the water on top of the fact most plants aren't designed to handle as much water as we've been receiving the last few years overall great explanation and if you're ever in Michigan and want to learn more of the process let me know we can give you a tour and show you what it's like
It’s not the videos that mean a lot… it’s you. The work ethic and the professional attitude through it all that we appreciate and want to help and encourage. Love what you do my guy. Best of luck.
@32:59 I wholeheartedly love that Trash Wheel model! As an absolute near lifelong Marylander and Baltimoron resident over a decade I absolutely could listen to CJ's dialect all day.
Luke, Desperado will be awesome when it hits the water again (and with all the new wires and hydro lines, more dependable than anything else!). With your seasoning, the packaging pushes a local/gourmet vibe!
It’s so awesome he as a mentor that is truly happy to see him thrive and prosper. No jealousy, no fear that he might do better than himself. It’s awesome.
im not gonna lie luke, I dont even know the first thing that comes to crabbing or fishing or anything boat related or anything of that sort and for some reason i always find myself watching your videos. its probably been about a year now of me just watching your videos and im just watching them in order like a netflix series 😂. I appreciate you giving us content to watch and I dont really comment on your videos much (i never commented on a single video) but I just wanted to say i love your worth ethic and i love how you always keep your head up and you keep looking forward even when you get knocked down you always find a way to get back up and i respect you a shit ton for that. be safe and i hope things start turning around for you.
Well the raccoons here, in Kentucky support you 100%. If you need help with further raccoons jumping on your boat please reach out We have ways to keep them from being on your boat without harming them! Lol
Thank you for making us Marylanders look amazing!!!!! I found you through the Eastport Community Facebook page when someone posted about the Desperado being vandalized and my heart absolutely broke for you and your family, I finally landed a new job after the marina I worked at got bought out and so I’m gonna try to buy a few shirts, love ya hon ❤️🤍🖤💛
Keep on crushing it bud just seen your video from a year ago when your sign got vandalized and was worried about getting business, to you now having a structure on the property and selling out!
Just wanted to say Luke I’m pretty new to the channel I’ve seen tik toks of yours before but just got into the videos. Anyway I can tell you are just such a stand up real dude and I respect the hell out of you man. The best people get the worst luck sometimes and I wish you all the best with the desperado and all the worst for those scumbags who would do such a thing to a dude that works his ass off and has built up a buisness from scratch. I also wanted to say you represent the blue collar/fishing/hunting community of Maryland so well and I’m proud to have a guy like you blow up from our lil state. All the best man, get in touch if you’re ever in Ocean City, dinner and a beer on me. Much love brotha man❤
Some people just can't handle the success of others. You'll be alright bro, get it done right so it's reliable on the water. Can't wait to see it happen, good job man!
Stumbled onto your channel and watched the video where your new boat was vandalized. I watched a few more and realized why you became popular. I watched all your previous videos within a week. Hard worker, goal oriented and incredible work ethic. You deserve everything you work for young man! Hope the crooks get caught. Some ideas you have had to fix things makes me look sideways though 🤣. All the best to you
@@OvelNick you’ve never dealt with the United States court system have you? 😂 they will most certainly get blood from you or you’ll spend the rest of your life in and out of jail or on probation. That saying only applies to civil cases.. this was criminal. Huge difference
I'm glad im not the only one in the marine industriy that has a rush rush no time lifestyle . its exhausting . i feel ya bud. in regard to the alternator, you can alleviate some of its current and just charge 1 battery. she's probably trying to push 50+ amps on a loose belt.
So looking forward to the rehabilitation of the Desperado, which needs a name change, I think you should name it after your wife. She's a good girl, she needs to be honored for all her hard work and marrying a " WORKAHOLIC" . Luke, you are the hardest working young man I have ever seen. Keep up the great work. Good luck with everything you do. Someday I will get down and meet you and buy some crabs and some merch
How do you think the Webo would do in the Gulf of Mexico as an off shore fishing boat? Would love a boat like that, honestly. Maybe by the end of the year, if she's still available, I might look into it a bit more. Love your content, Luke! Also, I would love to grab a hammer and help you out with the restoration of the Desperado. Hit me up!
Good work keep up the grind like always, and that ceiling fan is actuality nice the fan is strong and lights are adjustable in brightness, works great in my kitchen.
Unfortunately, this is the world we live in. It’s sad that people would do things like this. But you are an over comer and you will handle this the right way you’re not alone out there you know on the water there’s someone that has your back and that someone is the Lord. Just keep on keeping on Luke.
Please tell me the guy that sold the boat is being investigated. It seems pretty obvious that he or people he knew were involved. Had to have been an inside job.
@@mobilegameclips5628 im sorry to say, but you must be a kid an not from this kind of life backround, when you are raised into this type of buisness everyone who doesnt work for you is against you, rivals. the man who sold him this boat was known by many, the man who sold him the boat was also a rival.
@@mobilegameclips5628if it wasn’t him directly, it’s someone he knows. Since he sold Luke the crabbing license too. Someone who doesn’t like Luke for whatever reason doesn’t want him using the boat or license. It wasn’t random, that’s for sure.
@@tlcatlett considering it was vandalized immediately after the sale pretty much that says alot it's linked to directly or indirectly to the previous owner and he's liable for the damage
This was my thought as well. Only one boat vandalized and the night it was sold? Very suspicious, especially since luke (I’m pretty sure) said nobody knew he was buying it
It would seem to me a wiser move with the runoff from the treatment plant would be for the runoff to be directed into ponds that would leach the abnormalities out and deposit it in the soil that could then be used for fertilizer, creating a win win from a destructive process. Yes this is extreamly simplified but the principal is sound depending.
Need to get plenty of cameras set up when finished fixing it, id sleep on it the first week or so and if possible put an alarm system on it!!!! Keep digging Luke!!!
Love boat vids, can't wait until winter to see what you have in store for the Desperado (I definitely think it needs a new name). Surprised and great to see one rod on your channel, super cool and been following him and EPF since their early you tube days.
I think you’re technically a commodore now with your flotilla. I’m happy that you’re still excited about the possibilities and you can still look at the Desperado with affection. She has beautiful lines and will be an amazing boat when you’re done. Fair winds and a following sea to you. Just bought a shirt to contribute.
Demo ranch bought a ranch previously called desperado ranch. The river dried up right after he bought it, but it's flowing strong now. The desperado name is a mini curse. Things will get better. Stick with it. You got this!!
Luke you should carry linkabelts. They’re belts you can customize the length of by taking out links. Lifesavers when you’ve got a ton of belts. Also it’s not the wastewater treatment plants. Most of those are run by the WSSC and they do a fantastic job treating the water. It’s the runoff and fertilizer supplying all the excess nutrients.
She's a beute man it'll come together, you got something your vandelizers didn't count on.....your heart, also a great woman by your side. Keep gettin it my friend
