Situated in the southern part of Kassandra peninsula Hanoti has been a trendy holiday destination for people from the Balkan countries for a very long time now. But, in the last few years, it has become a host for more and more tourist from all over the world. Like in the neighboring Kriopighi, Polychrono, Pefkochori, and in a few other small towns in Hanoti, you’ll find plenty of Mediterranean flavor.
I always say that the food and the climate in Greece are the best in the world especially here in Northern Greece, on Halkidiki.
People usually come here and rent an apartment for around 50 Euros or less/day… and eat in the town or cook for themselves because the markets here offer fresh local fruits, vegetables, and meat and the restaurants offer the best Mediterranean meals. They use the beach for free.
The beauty of staying here or in any other place on Halkidiki is that you can always explore the nearby beaches and there is plenty of them in a 10 km radius. For example, if you stay on Kassandra peninsula like we do now we recommend visiting Sani Resort and Cabana Beach Bar. Just rent a car and you are going to have access to every beach on the peninsula of Kassandra.

There are also a lot of hotels here. We stayed at one with the name Dionysos Hotel & Studios. We paid 80 Euros per night (breakfast included). The quality of the water here is at a very high level… the only negative thing that I have to say about it is that the send is not as good as at some other beaches nearby and all over Halkidiki. There are pebbles on the beach and if you’re fine with it than you are going to love this beach.
Most of the beach is uncommercialized. That means you can use it free of charge. You just need to carry your own umbrella and something to sit on, like a towel or a beach chair. There are bars also, and I think that the prices will not exceed 5 Euro for a sunbed, or in another case, you will be able to use it for free as long as you order something from the bar.
The stay here is very practical since there are all kinds of shops near the beach and in the town of Hanioti. So if you need a snack, a drink, or some kind of water toy for the kids you will be able to get it very quickly.
