They really should give trappers a death note just so you could write something like "I bet you really thought you could" or "You've activated my trap card!"
@@blazingsparkyy yeah but town roles that kill are prime targets for evils so most people wouldn’t confirm themselves with it I feel, and if they killed to confirm themselves they pretty much out themselves to everyone already
@@blazingsparkyy In TOS 1 that was absolutely the case, but TOS 2 pretty much entirely circumvents the issues with confirming yourselves via Death Notes via the presence of Ritualist/Doomsayer as well as day-killing roles and more powerful evil line-ups in general, to such a degree that these roles typically _don't_ want to reveal themselves unless they either _have_ to or they have sufficient protection/reason to believe they're not going to get bombed. Once they do, however, these roles kinda confirm themselves _anyway_ and aren't going to be very easily contested - at best it might turn into a one-for-one, no one in their right mind is going to want to contest a confirmed Trapper/Jailor unless they really think they can make it work out in their favor. Even in scenarios where a Medusa/Enchanter wipes you and wants to steal your claim, BMG could just make it so the Stone/Enchant wipes your Death Note. No, the _real_ problem is actually the opposite: the ability for these roles to reveal information _without_ confirming/outing themselves, because traditionally putting themselves at risk is the trade-off for Townies getting information out. Vigilantes have to out themselves to point out immunes, Jailors have to out themselves to reveal all the information they gathered, etc. Information is the most valuable resource in the game, and giving Town more ways to communicate information without putting themselves at risk would make the evils' jobs that much harder. So they still shouldn't have Death Notes, just not for the reason stated. Though a "You've activated my trap card!" DN _would_ still be funny.
WE'RE EATING GOOD TONIGHT BOYS! Unrelated, I played some ToS 2 today and I got my first Pirate game, and I got the achievement for losing 6 duels in one game. I don't know if that's impressive or sad lol. I did get the W in the end though!
Seeing that you got 8 duels and won the game still on your first game, yes. It’s mega impressive. I tried getting that achievement for the longest time and had 15ish hours in the game at one time trying to get it.
The most frustrating thing about that Tav game was the fact that NOBODY noticed that 8's N2 will was completely wrong. He had Doomsayer and Coven on his Good night, which is literally impossible. One of those results MUST be good.
This wasn't just a 5 hour video, most games were really close and intense! At some point you'd expect some duds for those roles that just didn't work out, but I never felt like these games weren't worth my time. Thank you Pipton, for playing every Town Role!

The Seer game was actually crazy, full Coven, three Apoc, throwing townie, one arso, two WW, one town dead D2, it was basically a 3 town game and town managed to pull it off.
5 hours of pipetron, couldn't have asked for a better gift. Love the long videos, I either listen to it as podcasts or watch when im in bed and fall asleep watching. its such a relaxing experience

In that tav game, made me wonder; when Pipe gets reported, assuming the folks handling reports are familiar with who Pipe is, see the report and think 'Ain't no way' and delete it? 😂
I mean, I would hope they would at least look into it a little. I understand giving Pipe the benefit of the doubt since he is such a popular content creator, but to just ignore reports would be kinda scuffed.

On the Trapper Game: 2 being medusa actually explains why they wanted the Vet out so badly. Vet and Trickster were both big problems, but sus had already been thrown on 1 thanks to 13, but the vet was confirmed.

I don't know if Pipe or any of yall noticed, but in the Monarch game, 11 was evil as they got killed by the SK's rampage but not coven, but still got stoned, was probably PB or something

jesus, 2 in that trapper game was just unbelievable. he spent the entire game demeaning everyone, insulting veteran for "kIlLiNg ToWnIeS!!!" all while being evil himself, not to mention, outing his witch for absolutely no reason... witch definitely would've helped in their scenario. it's true when they say, people who are most triggered over vets/deps/pros killing townies are just evils trying super hard to seem townie themselves lmao

Just on the Lookout game at like 4:16:00, you could have said you are confirmed not Coven Killing because the spy saw you get Rbd. If you were empowered cl it would tell they spy you were rbd but immune.
