I don't think marshall is the town buff a lot of people treat it as. It's like Jailor- huge tactical value, but in the hands of an imperfect player, could absolutely unintentionally throw for town.
But with jailor it’s on one guy With Marshall it’s just letting the town hive mind run wild Usually first person to get a vote against them gets lynched
Fun fact about the exe/marshal interaction if someone's exe target gets hung and torment happens it'll delay the roles of the 3 people who got hung until the night of the next day (we didn't get to see it at 28:19 due to the game ending
To me, Marshal is a different role compared to other Tpows. Unlike other TPOWS, its more reliant on the skill of the Town, not the Skill of the Player. Sure, your confirmed and have +1 vote, but what happens with your ability is usually decided by the town. Wonder if it'll be banned in ranked...
Meta will prolly be for the Marshal to call out three names before revealing, in these games you see people voting up whoever goes over 3 votes, you shouldn't let coven lead that

Actually you can do a play during socialite party, making an admirer play "1 proposed to me, i accepted its not a toxic relationship" 1: "yes (coven) is confirmed tp" People dont take much attention during parties, most of the time they ask for tp or theorizing who is evil
I see. I suppose such a thing would need something like: 1 marsh, mayor, maybe monarch, a few random town, coven, and several jesters in the mix making their votes something to be careful on.

marshal might be my fav role they’ve implemented. anything that makes daytime bonkers to me personally is welcome. it’s a lil broken? sure but it’s town so it’s not THAT broken. however apocalypse feels really weak if town can literally lynch 3 people in 1 day. it becomes incredibly hard for apoco if the entire lobby just dies. imo the solution is buff other roles instead of nerfing marshal( no i don’t think exe should stop marshal i think it should play after the tribunal)

BUG FIXES - Fixed an issue where alignment scrolls would not be available to equip. - Fixed an issue that caused the socialite entertain ability animation to happen during random phases. - Fixed bugs relating to tribunal and executioner interactions.
Marshal feels like a role that'd make the apocalypses just absolute jokes. Edit: even if it can backfire, solo and duo neutralsare just quaking in fear
Marshal was more fun in the Tuba Antics mod, when it was neutral chaos and had the old Witch win condition ngl. Neat the modding community got a role added though

Socialite is going to be really strong for town, and really weaken coven and apoc, which I think makes it a really bad role. It nerfs the effectiveness of poisoners and VMs too, which, I think is a mistake because I don’t think coven is super powerful. Hopefully a patch soon fixes town’s power.
@@Qyubij Admirer and anyone who was VM’d now get to talk earlier. Someone rejects the admirer, during a socialite party? Guess what, now everyone knows. Evil accepts an admirer proposal? Now town knows about it that night, and knows that player will be silenced. In ranked, it’s going to be extremely oppressive and absolutely nerf the coven.
This wasnt tos2, but i had a tos ranked practice game where i was witch pretty early in to the match, 2 out of the 3 maf was gone, and i happened to find the last one which happened to be a hypno. I decided to side with him since witch wins with maf, and he hypnoed someone to make it seem as if they were transed so i claimed transed as well. We won that match.
So, I understand that Marshall is a tpow, but is Socialite also a tpow, or instead a ts? They kinda give a tpow vibe, since their power has to do with more social aspects. They don't give votes, but they basically give an extra day chat. Context: I don't have Steam and thus can't play ToS2
Socialite is ts. I originally thought it was a tpow given it’s strength as well. What’s crazy about socialite being ts is that means there can be more than one at once
Imagine if a Marshall caused three Jesters to get lynched. Also, what would theoretically happen if two Marshalls revealed in one day? Would they get six lynches?

@@Qyubij Well jailors are kinda self-explanatory. Theoretically, nothing much would change, and the only conflict would be if they both tried to jail eachother. But Marshalls seem like they'd be theoretically weird. If there could be two, I'm curious whether the Tribunals would stack - and how they would stack. Would it result in 6 executions? Or would the second tribunal interrupt the first one, thus resulting in 3-5 executions total?
