IDK why, but your videos were in my recommendations and I've been binge watching your videos. I haven't played this game since middle school and the last memory I have of this game is a dude called gRape and he killed people with the death note saying "you got gRaped" and nobody voted for him cause they thought it was too obvious and he ended up killing like half the town.
@@vendejamos7595 I once had a game where I was sk and on the death note I put, "( ) was here," the blank being someone else's name and it got them killed and I did it twice but the third time people stopped believing it.
Lol playstation died to arso on n2, and on day 5 an LO died leaving his will and no one thought to push those who visited Playstation. Really, this is a clear example of why BMG needs to buff NKs and mafia. The only way they win is if town is really dumb and also if they have lots of luck. Strategy and brains isn't enough, whereas town has a guaranteed win as long as they are half decent.
absolute facts. NK wins are literally impossible, and it is all just based on town's stupidity and luck. BMG needs to find a way for NK roles to get wins without luck just like mafia does sometimes.
I think the elo loss for NKs should simply be reduced as from an outsiders perspective seem to only add chaos to any game, a win with them seeming highly unlikely at best.
Big problem is late game you have to beg not to be voted up, that's why I like Throne of Lies were all the NKs have the limited use ability to supress someone from voting for a day, since if you get to the 1v1v1 as NK the other factions deserve to lose for not finding you sooner.
It was an interesting play to claim Sheriff after so many TI claims and not posting immediately D2... Someone who does that would be an instant exe/ lynch for me.
I won my first arso game the other day. Didnt say a single word the entire game, doused 6 people in total. It just so happened that they were the last alive. I lit em up :)

today I wrote a song in the chat for the inevitable victory of our mafia it went jingle bells, retri smells the tt went away they killed the mayor, the tp didn't care and they won the whole game, hooray! I presume you can tell how the game went
I claimed INVEST as Arso in Coven All Any. Won with a GA, Exe and a Jester. Final day: I claimed a BG was BG/GF/ARSO/CRUS. Mayor (revealed) pushed them up. I doused the BG the previous night, so it would have shown true. Exe and I guiltied. I ignited the Mayor and Exe. Reason I had the Exe doused was because I was worried of a possible WW. Glad they won before I killed them. Also the GA was my GA, hence how they won.
the best feeling when your the arsonist is when, you douse people the whole game and everyone you didnt doused is dead/accused and the people you did douse is alive then you can set everyone up at once about 5 or 6 people- best feeling ever to be honest
Okay but... the Lookout though. I just don't understand. Like, I'm nothing close to be a high elo player, in fact I never play Ranked but... how did the Lookout just never called you out? I was dying inside the entire game because of this guy!!!
I've been watching your videos for about a month now and I decided today to try the game out for myself because you make it look super fun. Even though I've only started today I've already managed to carry one game in ranked practice as investigator and win a 4v1 as mafioso by convincing the jailor early on that I was a doctor, tricking him into lynching the last town left alive and handing me the win, I even got two kills on maf as the vigilante. All this because your videos are so fun and informative. I'm still pretty bad at many roles and fake claiming is not my strong suit but that'll come with enough time and practice hopefully. Many thanks for your content Skimm, I think I've found one of my new favourite games!
Just got town of salem after watching a number of your videos and played some games. Needless to say, I am terrible but I managed to make my 4 games of getting nothing but evils come up with 2 wins and 2 losses. First game I got sk, and tried to go for a doc claim, but got outed d3 by a random town LO on an unclaimed random town Escort (rip me). Second game was framer but my maf pals were just as new as me and didn't know how to even attack... we didn't last long. 3rd game was exe and I somehow managed to get the lynch on a random town Medium D3 when there were two mediums in the game (who didn't confirm each other the night before for some reason) and the cc got me the lynch. Finally, the last game of the night, was another framer. Claimed spy, and made sure to keep things mostly believable with a few bits and bobbles here and there. My mafioso and GF forgot to attack a couple nights, but i managed to distract town enough that come the end of the game, gf was alive and free to win it. Funny thing was, my terrible spy claim didn't really get called out even after all random towns were found (vigi shot a vet and outed the last unknowns). That... and the jailor didn't say a word all game, and when he got pushed up, just did the casual 'why me' and nothing more, no claim... so yeah that was fun. Thanks for all the content Skim!
Yes, but mafioso would ve lost 100% if everyone voted arso , cause he would get jailed so mafioso did the best thing by not voting. There was a chance jailer would be got the arso
Bmarm. Exactly: If Town + Maf vote arso then the Mafioso is jailed and town lynches next day If town + arso vote maf then jailor jails arso and town lynches the next day If arso and maf don’t vote no one hangs and then: 1) Jailor jails maf -> arso wins 2) Jailor jails Arso -> Maf gets a kill and its 1v1v1 so town 100% loses and town picks who wins. So the only chance maf and arso have is to not vote so town can’t win anymore....
Well, kind of the question here is “Did jailor throw”. It’s a little iffy, cause even though they did technically, they really just skipped a cutscene at the end instead of timing out. Regardless, it was a really good game considering the double LO and escort. Also, mafia was slightly underwhelming.
jester already got a win, literally could not draw the game. all the jailor did was make sure one more party won, since his chances of winning were gone. not game throwing in the slightest.
The jailor did throw. While the jester had already won, a jester only win results in 0 elo gained or lost for town. By letting arso ignite and, therefore win, he caused town to lose the game in a way which lost town elo. Can't see how that isn't gamethrowing. Still good plays by Skimm though. Glad he won the stalemate detector.
So what are yall's opinions of the update to retri? (I feel it makes medium weaker because there is almost no way of proving himself now, but aye, I guess it's fine.)
my best arso game was when i claimed sheriff the entire time , only did dead people (especially dced people), and i won with another arso who i didn’t know who was arso so i ended up putting them up as inno
@@Potatoesop if you go check out irepptars channel, he did a video today about some of the new changes coming.... for retro specifically, they wont be able to revive people anymore, rather they work like necromancer and can only use the roles of dead townies to find information and assist town. AKA, it will be a lot harder to confirm retri and med when its released (which is great for mafia!)
Jailor didn't throw there - technically throwing a draw for a loss is gamethrowing, but since jester won, town wouldn't get the draw, they'd lose. The jailor's options were Jester win or Jester + Arso win.
@@hamburgercheeseburger7959 TBH I'm only Silver but I feel like I run into those people in RP way too much. Last game I killed the Mafioso when they went for jailor, I saved the jailor and the Sheriff who died N1 said I was bad.
Actually, town couldn't draw, it would be a jester only win. NK is too weak, literally impossible to win if town doesn't give you the win over mafia or something, NK needs some buffs real fast and town is basically a guaranteed win if you're arend stupid.
