all of the fees.....that was just a scam waiting to happen. Just like the police departments that can keep confiscated money that they "believe" is involved with illegal activities.
Or at least, if they're essentially working as a contractor, then they should either get no salary and not be considered an actual employee while they keep the fees (so that the fees basically are their pay), or it should be a much lower salary (eg under $50k) and then they keep the fees ( which would put them up around the $100-120k).
Yes, the fees should be paid back. But I don't think the good citizens of Douglas County should be yelling too loud. After all, they were the fools who voted this person into office.
That might depend on where the fee comes from. These fees, per the video, are for processing birth and death certificates. So you could say that this is a form of compensation based on their workload. Since it doesn’t rely much on the judge making judgements, the risk of corruption is smaller than in a situation where the judge can decide someone has to pay X amount and the government / court / judge gets to take a percentage of it. Of course, I’m sitting here wondering how many other government officials and employees process lots of paperwork and it’s just considered part of the job that they’re already getting a salary for. Do the DMV clerks get paid per license issued? (I’m pretty sure the lines would move faster, if they did.)
They were afraid of being called a racist. Racism is a money-making industry. Worn to the ground in every situation, but more importunely, when there is real racism that needs to be taken seriously it becomes lost in accusations and projection.
It sounds like they need to let her go. She sounds prett crooked, untrustworthy and demanding. Oh my gosh, and then she's gonna claim racism in Give me a break.
My mother was one of the first females to be admitted to the bar in Mississippi in 1964. She took her appointment very seriously. She had worked in law offices from the time she graduated high school and went to law school at night to earn her law degree. She passed the bar exam the first time. This woman is a SHAME and a DISGRACE to Georgia’s legal system, just like Fanni Willis. What are they doing in Georgia???
Your mother was definitely a real woman! That breed seems to have disappeared. We miss women that held themselves in high esteem, not wannabes by force and manipulation like we see nowadays. Disgrace everywhere.
Phil Miller and his family are/were far more crooked than anyone in that county. He used his money to build the jail which is foul considering he was the sheriff 🤔. It’s racism period! Miller would take “black” inmates out at night and tell them they get a big head start to run and if they get away they’re free. As soon as the inmate took a few steps Miller would shoot them in the back and call it an escape attempt. 🤦🏾♂️
If the powers that be wanted a black female in that position, why wasn't a person like yourself chosen, it would have been so nice for girls of ALL ethnic groups to see a female make it on hard work
Remove ALL laws, rules, or benfits saying judges get to keep fees. No fees should be kept, $0.00. They should not be able to get rich quick off the taxpayers dime. They are public servants. Im so tired of this.
45cfr 75.2 and 303.107 describe the contractual relationship between 42 usc 654.3, which is the child support agency. They are in violation of their oaths, cannon law and everything else you can think of.
@@TreySmith-e9w In TX, part of the judicial retirement fund is funded by child support. This gives judges incentive to hit men for as much as humanly possibly. Even if there's 50\50 shared custody, men will still be hit with large amounts of child support. "family" and civil courts in the US are banana republic level kangaroo courts and nothing more.
Anything not EARNED is not valued. She didn't EARN that salary, she felt she was ENTITLED to it. Shame on them for allowing this. NO is a very important word.
First you have to know what a racist is ... A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. ‘The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality. By this definition, people of color cannot be racists, because as peoples within the U.S. system, they do not have the power to back up their prejudices, hostilities, or acts of discrimination….’ The poster of this podcast in ignorant because most people who get elected as judges are lawyer except for white people who hold the office as judge and never passed the bar exam. Like Jim Jordan in congress which by position in known as the Lawyer of Congress but has not passed the bar exam and not even a lawyer constitutionally. This is about a black woman who became judge with a heavy work load left by the previous judge and she wants to get paid more for doing the work the previous judge didn't do. So they makeup sht again you don't have to be a judge to be elected as a judge, you have to start some place. Hell my wife is a notary and she does all that they say is required does that make her a judge but a law degree does. Notaries can process wills, marriage licenses, and conceal weapons permits all it take is pay for the classes to do so. Again makeup sht ... This is what you called Systemic Racism ... I can guarantee you electing her was to clear up the backlog and hire a white person afterwards.
Sick and tired of these individuals crying "racism" for any criticism they get or for being held accountable for their actions. I am an Asian. I have been in trouble at work before. I didn't think my work was picking on me because of racism and me being Asian. It was because I screwed up. Ugh. Good grief. I hate idiots.
NO NO NO NO NO .... ALL BL4CK HAS ALL THE D.E.I SO YOU NEED TO PAY 6MILLION IN SOMTHING SOMTHING NO NEED FOR EDUCATION WHEN BL4CK JUST CASH IN GET 4 HOUSES 6 CARS ... AT ANY CHOOSING .. NO PROBLEM
We all make mistakes. It's the sign of a mature person who can admit that and accept responsibility. I've had my fair share of criticism during my career as well. Edit: Stop coming for me in the comments... my comment was to the original poster for her maturity. I'm not talking about the judge. She should be put under the jail.
"Individuals" is it a crime to use the word BLACK... I mean I see several black RU-vidrs who use the N double GG word, amongst others.. Black even called themselves and other blacks the N word.. As a 'part" Native American Comanche .. I have no time for black people .. none.. whiners, crybabies, finger pointers .. Native Americans have been treated far far far worse then any one Black ..
She has been brought to the judicial conduct commission (or whatever the formal name is) who have referred her to the State Supreme Court for removal. So there you go. That's what this whole video is about.
Christina J. Peterson should be immediately disbarred, license revoked, ordered to pay restitution to all who suffered her incompetency, and barred from practicing ANY type/form of law for the remainder of her existence on this earth.
Yeah mine too.... Perfect description for a genetic brain malfunction. Mind you she is the 4th colored women "given" this opportunity and went Poco-loco.
This is what you get when one p o l i t i c a l party controls almost all of the institutions, including the "newz" meediuh, who's job it is to hold them accountable! Instead of accountability, the citizens keep getting stuck with c o r r u p t officials, because the MSM endlessly protect and praise them.
Lol no way you'll have BLM riots on the streets😂😂😂 blacks don't like when they have to get punished for what they did wrong they're entitled to getting off the hook
After hearing what she did to the Asian Woman married to the Black Man. This Judge deserves being removed as Judge. How can a Judge condemn a married Couple, unionised before God and throw her in Jail for 2 Days. This former Judge is only sorry because her Actions were condemned. She has no Remorse, neither do I.
@@tamitatangoto5134 The Asian woman wanted to legally change her maiden name because she found out who her real father was. So, uppity judge put her in jail out of spite for marrying a bl@ck guy. The Asian woman did nothing wrong.
Yeah that's WILD.. like a bad practice that carried over from the 1800's.... The fees should go back to the public as revenue... not go into the pockets of a state employee.. That's so unethical.
It's sad because there is serious inequality in the workforce. And in public service and this woman takes advantage of her color and sex for no other reason but money.
@@KimberlyBishh Oh really? Where? From what I see, there was no "serious inequality" of talent and skills in the workforce. Do you condone hiring based on race and gender AND include every single race, not just black? If not, you're a hypocrite. And I already know from first-hand experience that in pretty much the whole IT industry, the super-minority are white men. And it has been for a long time.
Seems incentive to fine the citizens, the public, on judge's whim. Say the judge wants to pay for kids braces, or expensive summer camp, or when the judge wants to buy a new car, go on vacation, was having a bad day. Absolutely arbitrary. I think this mess is far bigger than 1 corrupt incompetent judge. Sounds to me many more deserve to face law suits, disbarment, is that a real word(?), I don't care, you get the drift.
@@jakehero95 Imagine if cops got paid for every ticket they give out. They'd be even worse than they already are. Actually, with quotas and the perks that come along with them, cops are incentivized to give out questionable tickets , especially DUIs which can ruin someone's life.
Given what we've seen in Georgia over the last few years I guarantee the supreme court will not punish her. They will bend the knee and say "we're not racist".
all you had to do was follow the rules you cried your way to a better paycheck (you did NOT earn) and you only had to follow the rules after. BW pls pls try to blame men for your own self destruction ill wait
has nothing to do with checking boxes; there have been incompetent judges for a hundreds of years. now there just diversity within the incompetent ranks.
Color should never be a basis for qualification. People like her are setting back rights for Blacks decades. This was not what MLK Jr fought and died for. So much sympathy for those who are suffering due to people like her.
Not only should she lose her license and seat as a judge but also go to jail for bribery, extortion, fraud, security violations, and other criminal activities.
If you believe that nobody is above the law, then you haven't been paying attention to what the Democrats have been doing to Trump for the last eight years.
DEI is still at work here. She's not incompetent. She's corrupt and a disgrace to her profession. Those who fired her knew she had to go, but by not disbarring her, and prosecuting her for her misconduct, they toss her out quietly using incompetence as a motive for her behavior. She's now free to go into private practice. She's now empowered to carry on with her corruption in the judicial system. Ridiculous.
The woman she falsely imprisoned, booked for contempt should sue to have her name cleared, and be reimbursed for any fees. Likewise, she should sue her and the court for misconduct and violation of her Constitutional rights as a naturalized citizen. Then she should be disbarred and forced to work at a McDonalds.
@@paulcooper9675 The poor woman jailed for having the probity to change the name of her father when she knew who he was is probably traumatized by this corrupt and entitled judge who had shown herself to be systematically more contemptuous then this poor woman. It's not the county who get to decide whether she is disbarred or not. The bar will have to do their own investigation.
the maliciously corrupt leftists in the "justice system" are widespread over the past 5 years and we will see millions more in the next 15-20 years. it's the beginning of a new wave.
@@end_of_the_world-v8g If this is true, then do you believe that the bar would likely be also investigating her conduct and she may eventually be disbarred? Or are they allowing this one to slide... because you know, rascism and all that noise that she will make?
"White guy here", she literally pretended to be a white man. Now, let's see how far I'd get mocking and dressing up as a black woman AS A JUDGE and pretending to be black gets me shall we? I'd be dragged all over social media and then some. Blacks make EVERYTHING about race, let's not brush past this fact now
Seriously? This bad and awful? Absolutely must be removed and pay back some of that money (BTW, the system failed here too - how could she be allowed to make more than senior judges and keep all fees to begin with?)! All I was seeing earlier was she got into a scuffle and punched an officer at the Red Martini lounge - perhaps after intoxicated (where she shouldn't be hanging out, as a judge to begin with). Absolutely ashamed of this judge's conduct, breaking of rules, greed, unprofessionalism and total drama ( as a black man who should be celebrating her accomplishments)! 😮🫣😔 Thank you for sharing all these, makes better sense now. 🙏👍
@@onegonearm they're the lowest paid because they do the least amount of cases. in the video it was showing her 700 cases vs 10000 what some of the other judges presided over.
It’s so sad seeing stories like this. It’s so disgusting she didn’t recognize the significance of her position. Not only did she abuse her position but she’s now tainted the history of the first black female judge forever. She has now permanently associated that title of first black female judge with systemic incompetence
This is sickening. She should never be able to practice law again, and the people who supported this corruption should be removed from office. This is what Affirmative Action brings us.
Elected officials, especially judges, should be held to the highest standard due to their inherent power. She has forgotten this power is from the people.
It should be the upper end as well since the woman was jailed for more than 12 hours, and it probably should be defined as a hate crime since it appears to be racially motivated.
She should be put in prison, she's stealing 70k from clients, imprisoned people without reason and puts the courthouse in danger. Had anyone other than a black woman judge done that they would have been arrested a while ago.
Imagine just going in to change some paperwork and getting jailtime. I hope this does't stay on her record? Such a mess of a person to do this to someone doing the right thing.
She grifted, she cried, she stole, she imprisoned and she violated courthouse rules and etiquette by making it completely vulnerable for anyone entering. Yes, disbarment in order along with the firing.
@@danporath536 no but it does create bias in people's minds even if they don't want it. Everyone has a bias even you. I myself take my bias into account but I still use common sense and my bias is right unfortunately more than it's wrong
Why in the world do salaried judges get to keep birth and death certificate fees?! 😠It's crazy how much the fees are just to get a certificate. Had no idea judges get the $. 🤬
This is why I'm so against DEI mandates... She thought just because she was black and a woman with zero experience doing the job that she deserved more than any of the experienced judges, she also cried on the stand about how she wasn't celebrated as a black woman...... Merit and Experience should come first and if you don't have the experience you shouldn't expect equal pay for doing the same job as those who've been doing it for decades. She actually deserves prison time and no sympathy.
@@johnswanson3741 Those who are intelligent, reasoned, unbiased, and lacking entitlement are a rare commodity. This Judge is the example of the many who are not.
The reason there wasn't a cap, the previous judge had principals. See people sometimes you don't need a law or rule to make you do the right thing. It's called principal!
How do so many incompetent, unscrupulous, corrupt people make it through law school, pass the bar and take oaths that they have no intention of following.
There are civil servants who receive fees because that makes up the difference btwn their salary and the salary in private sector. If not, it would be extremely difficult for the state to fill positions. Legally the hiring rate is set but the administration can offer those type of ways to earn income to cover the difference. There are rules set in place though so it's transparent and fair to the public.
What happens when you put someone on a position they aren’t ready or qualified to be in, just because of the pigment in their skin. Why I never agreed with affirmative action.
Even if she was qualified it wouldn't matter!! SHE IS A THIEF AND A CROOK AND SHE HAS ZERO INTEGRITY. Everything I judge should NOT be. If she was more experienced she would have done even worse!

I cannot believe a judge gets to keep the fines people have to pay, that is absolutely ridiculous. That woman who said they should have put a cap on it - NO, she should not be allowed to keep "any" of these fines. Talk about a real easy path to corruption, these people coming before her are like her piggy bank. I hope she is disbarred and has to pay back the fines she collected and throw her ass in jail just like she did to that Thia woman, but for a longer period of time. I don't care what race she is, there needs to be consequences for every blatantly wrong thing she did. And she knew "exactly" what she was doing.
@kimkulesa3041 isn't that a conflict of interest? Wouldn't that give judges the right to impose fines indiscriminately. I think this idiot just exposed something. Sad to say Trump might have been right about Georgia and it's corruption.
