This is being used in the “Promising Young Woman” trailer and I LOVE that I could recognize it immediately by the warmup strokes. I squealed when I heard the “one two three four” and then it started the actual piece here. I love that it’s being used in a movie, since it’s SUCH a good rendition of an already awesome song.
I love it when string quartets cover pop or rock songs that actually have strings in the original. It makes it that much more meaningful to me than string quartet covers of songs that don’t. Same goes for other instruments.
I heard this song in a movie called "Promising Young Woman", which I highly recommend. It's about someone who took justice into her own hands when no one did anything about harrassers and rapists. I came looking for this song because I love hearing classical interpretations of modern tunes. It seems like the musicians enjoyed playing this, too. I wish there was a longer version of it. It's wonderful!

The reason why they wrote "my gay wedding" is because this song is sorta of a gay anthem. I'm in the lgbtq+ and most of us think of it that way (it's mainly for jokes 😅)

When I heard the first little lick of “practice” in the trailer, I said out loud “No WAY!” And then heard the “one two three four” and squealed. This is one of my favorite renditions is this song, and I was so happy to hear it in the trailer.
