I always liked that map; because of the rotating Star/Bowser there is legit a very niche strategy where saying "NO" to getting a Star actually makes sense.
Specifically, here's an example that happened to me some years back: Myself (going first) and Player 3 (going 3rd) were tied in Stars on the final turn. We were both getting one bonus star. Player 3 was up 30 coins. Both of us, along with Player 2 (going 2nd), were 1 square from the Star with Toad showing. If I buy a Star, Player 2 gets Bowser then Player 3 buys a Star. I lose on coins. If I *dont* buy a Star, Player 2 gets the Star and Player 3 gets Bowser. I win on coins. So choosing *no* was the correct play. Except this being MP1, Player 2 got a random Warp block, defeating my plan. But the plan of NOT purchasing the star was objectively the correct decision to make.
26:43 That's my favorite moment of the video. Vernias claiming Sophist's soul for a minigame of torture. Vernias didn't care about winning, he just wanted to torment Sophist.
Next video: The WORST Board in Mario Party 1 by KingofSkill I’ll be recommending a non Mario Party video next time The reasons why I’ve recommended this one 1. It’s one of my favs 2. There’s this song I’ll be able to show you once you react to it
@@MoonlarkSpirits I mean, I really doubt he could get a copyright strike. (The song has already appeared in another video) But Kyle should probably ask permission directly from the creator anyways.
8:52 Fake Star Recent entries call it Shadow Star, Dark Star, and now Z-tar. You just lose coins in this and MP2 (and Jamboree). You lose a star in others.
