this show was effectively a case study in how to make all the dumbest decisions and still survive via plot armor (while getting as many others killed as possible).

This show drove my nuts. The family knew the problem was in the rain but still had to drive to escape. Why not get the kids home and hide out there? Wait out the rain and then set out after the rain finished and dried up. I could only watch a couple of episodes before I had to give up.

When you realise most movies and shows would be boring if the parents raised their kids properly as its most of their plot.

Beside the many ridiculous decision the survivor made, this is an interesting plot none the less, and a departer aways from typical Zombies TV series.

I am only a couple minutes in and I am furious right now. I mean her father has a way in so why would he knock? Why would she ever go outside before she absolutely had to? Why would she go out alone and potentially put her brother in more danger by leaving him alone? I just finished this video and I have to say that I can not get any more angry than I am right now. I had to take a break because of how stupid Simone was but for her to put humanity at risk by escaping the quarantine zone knowing that everyone in the world would die makers her worse than hitler and there is literally no where lower she could fall. I love my family and I would sacrifice alot for them like most people but as a reasonable person, I can make sure my family dies a natural death without endangering every other human on the planet.

I watched this series. It was pretty good IMO, but it was not not what i expected it to be.

As ridiculous as this show became, the concept is not horrible and the main characters were at least well acted. I recall Simone being decent while Rasmus was a later season Zack from the Strain. I get he's the key or whatever but, man, I really did not like him.

This is why I can’t watch a teen led apocalypse movie. They make terrible decisions, think they know everything and never learn from the past mistakes made. Watched one where the teen was deaf, and the monster only attacked when you made noise. This chick started screaming with her entire family in the car over her dog. Yes I understand pets are family too, but did I mention these monsters KILLED when they hear noises. He uncle had to sacrifice himself to save the rest of them, cause she wouldn’t stop screeching. Then she lost her baby brother after showing him a toy, that lit up and made noise. Cause she didn’t know it made noise she showed it too him with a battery in it. Their mother took it away and said “No”. Baby brother snuck back and got the toy and the battery. Was happily playing with it when a monster came and swooped him up!!
