Here’s my idea on how to completely rework Amaru to make her really fun: • make her a 3-speed, BUT: • primary weapons consist of 1) some unholy version of the ALDA 5.56 that’s magazine-fed, 100 rounds, u get 10 mags. To balance it the only attachments you get are a lazer (with maestros old hip fire mechanic lol) and vertical grip. AND, no ADS. You have to hip fire the gun. 2) a hybrid of the FO-12 and AA-12. Think the Origin 12 with a drum mag in COD MW. To balance it, u only get 2 30-round mags, no attachments at all except for a lazer, and it can open up walls but not break the beams (ie., can make sight lines but not rotations. Also, no ADS, just like her ALDA. And 3) a inherently suppressed semi-auto pistol with good iron sights (so not the P12 lol), and a 75-round drum mag. But, no reloads. Does normal pistol damage but at an extended range. No attachments or customization can be done to it except for weapon skins. But, she can aim with this. And yes, her pistol is her primary weapon. Why? Wait and see. • her secondary weapons consist of 1) an RPG that does 150% normal grenade damage with like a 10-meter radius. However, it has really bad breaching abilities (see her shotgun). And, with it out she moves at half her normal speed, can’t prone, can’t be rappelled, crouch/un crouch is slower, and if the player is being a spaz/sweat and quick peaking, crouch spamming, etc. it’ll accidentally blow up on her, regardless of if she has it equipped or not. But nobody except her gets killed if it blows up on her. Only if it was shot will damage be done to anyone besides her. Also, when she’s ready to shoot she has to mount it up on her shoulder, screams “F*** YOU TACHANKA” really loud as an audible warning like 2 seconds before it gets shot, and also Amaru didn’t learn how to use an RPG properly so the knockback throws her on the ground (like if she was hit by oryx), and it takes away 20HP from her. CAN BE COUNTERED by jager/wamai/castle/similar ops. And you only get one shot, make it count. And 2) a sword to go with her jungle explorer vibe that pressing the shoot button will give her a melee with extra range and a cool animation, and pressing the aim button let’s her throw the sword following a curve or whatever. If it hits an enemy it’s an instant kill, if it hits a soft thing (rook armor bag, wooden wall, etc.), it gets stuck, and if it hits any hard thing (shield, reinforcement, indestructible part of the map, etc.), it breaks and Amaru gets no secondary weapon. • keeping with the total chaos theme, take away her secondary gadgets altogether. She already has enough lol Now, Amaru’s gadget deserves a rework too. • give her 10 hooks instead of 4. She’s gonna become more versatile too so to balance that out, she can’t spam them. Instead you have to manually reload each hook and it takes 5 seconds to do so each time. • she can use her Garra hook to quickly go down skylights too. You’d press a button to go to the floor under you and hold it to go all the way down. The animation would be as follows: she runs into the skylight, body checks it like in American football, jumps through the skylight, looks back up with the hook and latches on to the top of the skylight, and swings in. To balance this, she needs a pep talk from a teammate to do this, meaning she can’t Yeet herself through the skylight in a 1v1, AND if she goes in and directly in front of her is something like a pillar or a wall, she slams into it and loses half her health. • inside buildings, she can hook onto the sides of walls and ceilings with her hook. Here’s what I’m thinking: 1) she can latch up anywhere for a max of 20 seconds. 2) before that time is up she has to begin getting to the ground (same as fast-rappelling down), and if she stays up, she gets fatigued, falls down and takes fall damage. If she survives the fall she’s stuck in the prone position for like 5 seconds recovering, then she can get up and do everything except sprint for the next 10 seconds, and during that time since her arms are heavy, knees weak, palms sweaty, she has less control over her gums and her reticle moves around a bit (like the old echo, except the part of the screen she’s aiming actually moves a little bit for those 10 seconds). 3) remember how she has a pistol as a primary? That’s the only gun she can use while she’s in Spider-Man mode. She’s only got one arm for the gun so she has a little more recoil and she only has one arm on the hook so instead of being up there 20 seconds it’s only 10, but hey, you can still shoot an enemy from an angle no other operator can get to. • she can now sacrifice herself for her team by rappelling into a Castle door/window. This will immediately kill her, however it will break down the castle barricade, and her rag-doll body becomes a high speed projectile with a radius roughly 1-2M wide, injuring anyone on the other side of the castle in a straight line from it (the closer they are to the castle the more damage they take, highest damage is being downed if you’re within 3M of the Castle, clearing any utility that is in her flight path that is destroyable by melee or bullets, and also creating a giant trail of destroyed floor/wall until she finally comes to a stop at either 15M from the door/window, or at the first indestructible/reinforced wall, or a deployable shield/goyo shield, which will stop her but it will break in the process. Plz pin this I want Ubisoft to see my idea of an Amaru rework
