"Go Cheetah, get banana. Hey monkey, get funky" HAHAHAHA It's killing meeeeee. I can't stop listening this. This is so funny, silly and cute!!! It makes me really happy. An they are so lovely together!!!! JEEZ
Nowadays it’s impossibile. Arts and musics depend on social and economical conditions, in the 1990s we were in peace, no pandemics, no recession, no inflation so we could listen to this kind of songs. Nowadays we have war in Europe, recession, still Covid, do you really think the majority of people would listen to a song like this?
Truly the best version of pop music. Exists to have fun and to help other people have fun, and proud of that fact. No soulless, data-driven, formulaic lyrics, just a simple narrative and a fun ride from beginning to end.
@@ayanp353 Not really. I can't think of another pop song about Tarzan and Jane. Most I can think of approach love, lust, sex, partying and success from a similar angle.
When I was younger I used to listen to this all the time because I thought it was just a fun song...but now that I’m older I have a whole new perspective on this song......😂😂
my music teacher showed us this a few years ago and i heard it years before that too... it's still a bop but some of the lyrics and imagery is UHHH yikes..
This song has been periodically stuck in my head for 12 years. I can’t believe my first grade dance teacher planned to make us use this at a recital 💀 so glad she changed her mind, because I wouldn’t have been allowed to dance afterwards lol
Listened to it when I was 5 yo. Now listen to it again and cannot stop laughing about how simple but cute and funny this masterpiece is 🤣definitely wanna turn it on in my wedding 💃
This song was popular in my happiest part of my life about 20 y ago. Its so silly but make me happy and smailing still today even though I'm 45 years old. Love it
we, the 90's kids were definitely exposed to some weird adult things that would be clearly "restricted" for today's kids. it was so fun seeing the world as it is and not sugar-coated or as you can say "adult-supervised".
guardiangarasu ya, man. The world has definitely lost its edginess. And now we, the ones still stuck in the past. stick out like sore thumbs or end up branded brash, arrogant and what not.
"I am Jane and I love to ride an elephant" "When you touch me I feel funny I feel it too when you're touching me" "And so they got funky" Interesting lyrics.
+Hermit Crab All of this bubblegum dance songs have those hidden messages. It is like there was a contest between the writers who culd get away with most of them in a child-friendly song.
2019: thank you Spotify for nearly killing me in the shower listening to this song. Hahaha at 24 this has now become my new favourite thing OH MY GOD!! 😂😂😂😂😂never heard it before in my life
My childhood is ruined. Hahahahaha. This kind of music I listened when I was kid doesn't mean anything but a fun music, but now that I'm adult-hahahahahaha. Well, this song is still a bop and nostalgic.
OMG. I've been listening to this song since I was a kid. Mostly a song that's played at the back, never watching the video. Today at 33, I saw the squeaky ab workout for the first time. Pure GOLD!!! HOW DID I NEVER SEE THIS!!!!
I have this song on my HAPPY SONGS listl Today is the first day I have ever actually watched it - so much fun and puts a smile on my face in the midst of so many serious issues of life!
