If only the rebellion would have known that a poster could take out the eEmperor...😂 Great vintage Wicket plush score for Ewok Em! Looked like a pretty sweet shop with lots of nice options. Definitely some nice vintage Kenner in there. Looking forward to seeing the pickups that you guys scored on this run. Thanks for sharing another adventure with us!
That's a nice Wicket! My wife loves them too. She has a green hooded one from Disney Parks. That's a great idea of what to do with old boxes that aren't in such good shape: take the best side, cut it off and make a poster. Those lunch boxes are pretty nice! They are usually all beat up because we weren't very careful with them when we took our lunches in them every day back then. GoBots are awesome! I got into them for a while back then. Even had the Command Center and the one that transformed into a cap gun. They were so much cheaper than Transformers that my family got them for me instead. Nice playsets! I have the Escape Pod from that Land of the Jawas playset, but not the rest of it. That's super cool! I loved those micro machines playsets like the one next to it back then, but never got one. I did and still do have the big vehicles though. My grandma got me the Falcon and an AT-AT back in the 80's. Those two are the very best toys Kenner ever made, I think. The ones they have in this store are pretty nice. Wow! He really has stuff packed in there. Needs another display case. :) Quite a place! Looks like he's got a bit of everything. Those educational books that they did with C3PO and R2D2 are indeed cool! Nice find there. Some people don't think about stuff like that, but they are quite fun to read and are just as neat as the toys. Ch ch ch ch Chia! Those things are pretty neat! I remember when they were all the rage and there was a Chia everything and the ads were on TV every day. Never had one, but I remember wondering how the plants could actually grow on them. Yeah, that's a Dewback from after the Special Edition movies came out. It's pretty cool because it is closer to the film version than the original Dewback that I got back in the day. I like my original one though because the tail and head move on swivels like a puppet. That's great that Emily likes to go toy hunting with you. My wife does too. Some of the collectors I know don't have spouses or family who get it and who give them a hard time about it, so we're lucky guys indeed. Nice video!
I wish these guys were on the west coast they have some killer deals on vintage Star Wars figures. Some places here in California would charge double for the brown snake Yoda, the Jawa playset and Bespin Princess Leia complete.
Just a heads up, not sure if you care or not, but your wicket spears appears to be a reproduction. Some people don't care, but figured I would let you know if you did.
We have two sets of the original Ewoks, and one of the wickets has a fake spear yes. I still go on eBay waiting to see one pop-up that is actual vintage. I see a lot of repro ones pop up online all the time
