Left a battery out in the valley heat, common sense needs to be more common.

Yeah leaving a battery in 110 degree weather will do that thought it was common sense but sadly you don't have to take a IQ test to have kids.

I'm no firefighter... but lack of common sense caused this.

Im glad that the mothers message was to alert other parents not to make a mistake likes hers, instead of trying to shift blame to the toy manufacturer or something, thats super respectable It was purely the fault of who left it outside

STORY TIME⚠️: So once when I was at my school me and my friends partnered up because Miss told us to and we were making a motorised car. And that means you would meet a battery. So our teacher just let us get to work without any help and it started off well. But, the battery started heating up and miss said take it out. Me and my friends were scared that it would blow up and start a fire which it could of and the other groups in my class had a battery that heated up aswell.

I a bit and raised Arizonan And this summer is especially extreme.. I can see how that could happen.. My first thought when I started watching it was, I bet it was in Arizona lol then seen the rest and it sure was

We went through this in the 90s and 2000s with the OG barbie jeeps and what not. For fox sake watch some news, read the instructions something. 🙄

This is no different to what happens to a real forklift when the engine overheats. A real forklift can catch fire if it overheats.
