Hi, I've just installed the new trigger, and wow, awesome job guys! I haven't been able to use the gen 5 since purchase as the trigger was so bad, but this solves it, so thank you, amazing content as always aswell helped to make the install easy, keep up the great work 👏
I have to say, now that I have both the Gen 3 and this Gen 5 MOS version, I feel Gen 3 was more sturdy. I purchased mine with a steel slide and outer barrel, and adaptor plates. However, the steel slide seems noticeably lighter than the Gen 3. There is also a lot of play between the slide and frame. The rails on the Gen. 3 and steel slide were a lot tighter (better tolerance?). The recoil spring assembly is a lot weaker than the Gen 3 and the Gen 5 hop up unit seems cheaper than the old version. I have a steel barrel lock, 4UAD bucking and hop up unit preordered so I hope it'll be better. The mushy trigger is lighter but like your video illustrated, it has a lot of slack, so I will probably have to get the upgraded trigger. Interesting to note is the slide rails match the real steel so I'm able to use a real steel MGW sight adjustment tool on this airsoft model. However, I believe the dimensions are still a bit off because the AmeriGlo rear sight I put on has a noticeable gap between the slide and the metal rear sight even after tightening the sight with the included screw. The polymer frame also looks a bit rough and the bottom of the flaired magwell has sharp edges and when I tried to install real interchangeable grips, they didn't fit. The grip angle is slightly different than the real one 🤷♂️. The flaired magwell is also more square-ish and not as rounded as the real one. Lastly, the adapter plates are a cool idea but the included screws are extremely small and I almost stripped one of them trying to install the #2 sight plate. I have a Holosun SCS but I realized I can't mount it because the sight doesn't require a sight plate and screws directly onto the slide. Unfortunately, to maximize the efficiency of the gas nozzle, the MOS plate once removed, shows a slide that isn't flush, so I can't mount the sight. FYI, the size and thread of the MOS plate screws are not the same as the real steel ones. All in all, I think the Gen 3 is better quality and it's cheaper than this MOS version. I'd recommend waiting to purchase this after a few more batches have been made. I noticed the newer Gen 3 polymer frames have slight changes than the original ones that first came out. For example, you can see the difference in the front set of slide rails from the original batch to the ones being made now. The polymer also looks rough and not rounded and smooth on the inside around the recoil assembly area, unlike the Gen 3. I think this will all get better over time, so this might just be because it's a new item with a new mold.
@@4UADSmartAirsoftThanks! Question: does your steel recoil spring feel weaker than the one on the Gen.3 and does your Gen.5 have a lot of play between the slide and rails? My slide sometimes doesn't reset fully to the forward position.
Why use old v 1 tension arm?? Just change pin in the v2 tension arm spring to a longer pin. Reducing the rolling break and premature valve knocker movement.
I have gen 3, Samoon Co2 kit installed, I dry fried a lot and the trigger have become so weak to open the co2 mag valve, hope this trigger could fix it
@@4UADSmartAirsoft When I press the slide from left to right I have a play of at least 1mm or even a little more. When I have the entire slide mounted, the weapon sounds like a rattle.
Hey guys, love the content. Quick question: I have a gen 3 ghk, and I need a trigger upgrade. I know that there is already a samoon improved trigger out there (I think it's that silver sear shape that was changed), so I'm wondering if you guys are using the old sear, the samoon improved one, or a completely new one. Thanks!
You guys reply to comments a lot, hoping you reply to mine. I wish to acquire the most impactful Glock in the market, recoil wise, doesn't matter the cost nor the generation. What do you recommend? GHK Gen 3 with Steel Slide + Upgrade kit for CO2? Or GHK Gen 5 + Steel Slide (Is this even for sale anywhere?) + Upgrade kit for CO2 (Which I guess would be the Steel Slide + the package of upgrade parts shown in this video?)? The Gen 5 is new and thus, information on upgrade parts, and comparisons to gen 3, is hard to come by. Props for the amazing videos! Hope I'm able to support you guys soon by buying your upgrade products : )

I want you guys to redesign and make all the parts of Gen5 Glock. I want you to make a lower frame complete set like Marui & Garder. And in my opinion, the holes in this new magazine were the worst design. ghk if you're reading this comment please reproduce the old one.
@@simonstokes369 Yeah, actually, the matte polymer frame of the Gen5 is great. It's really pretty. But I don't like the inside part. I've got a few issues and even with the same aluminum slide, the Gen3 is better: operability, recoil, stability, durability. There's no problem with the Gen3. And the 2 holes in the new magazine are ugly and useless. The old one was even prettier.
It should be the same as gen 3. I own gen 3 aluminium version and love it. I modified the trigger by installing a longer pin in the tension mechanism. Made the break more consistent at the cost of less movement for the rolling break.
