I absolutely love the kids room. The majority of off grid people usually have a great bedroom for the parents and a small cubby with a kid mattress as the kids "room"
I am loving the conversion into the kids room. We sleep in our bedrooms, but kids play in their rooms, so that space just made sense. The regular bunk rooms just never made sense to me, and so many have the half bath with a door to the outside, which is terrifying to have kids sleep where there is access to the outside. And that has to be the best kitchen I’ve seen in a toy hauler, plus there’s an actual living room without having to look across the kitchen to see the tv. Great video!
Here are parents who really don't need to take the shortcuts that families do when moving their kid from a house to a camper. I find that - awesome - very respectful of their child, who can decide at 18 whether they want a house or to compromise living arrangements for the "road." I also think that ONE child can be enough. And it does turn out that way. Not everyone reproduces or lives with more than that.
You are correct about GD lack of smart design. The 395M has been around since 2017 and maybe before that. This was one of my favorite floor plans and half baths are essential😁
Very nice toy hauler you fixed up nicely. Love it. Nice to meet another Road Runner. He has a nice Momentum. Love the bath room. Nice office too in the hauler part. Thank you Brian for having this gentlemen show his home. See you and Erin soon! Have a great week.
That main kinds sleeproom area is the best part with sooo much more space in it,alltrough he could,ve install a slidible bed in it instead sothat a 1 person bed can be slided out into a 2 person bed once needed for another person.
Wld like to see bed in office looks like. Love ideas with desk. & Love put Alot of thought of your kid 1st. I see Alot of ways to fit another kid ... Love porch (ramp). Going to start looking at options for me & 3 dogs. Porch nice just wld need higher mesh around. Love it!!!!
Take your stickers off all your appliances then with a little essential lemon oil on your finger rub off any residual glue, takes it right off, buff with a clean rag and it's gone completly, perfect
That's a great use of space for everyone's needs. While we do love our motorcoach I sometimes wish there was a seperate office/spare bedroom area like your garage area is used for. I will no doubt comfortably make-do without it 😉. Seems there's always something more to wish for. Isn't that the truth? 😄😉
What if you put a spacer to raise the desk up enough so that the couch would be at proper height for sitting? Might be a way to free up that nice seating area.
Nice tour! 1StrangeAdventure did something similar on their new Momentum regarding the garage and kids room. Love your channel. Bonus: love the t-shirts you wear, especially the Star Wars ones.
Hi - I am now also thinking of cutting the mattress down to size to fit the happy jack platform in the rear garage. Can you give me an idea of what I’ll need to get it done?
I am wondering what it costs or what companies offer towing your 5th wheel. I would like to look into having my RV towed for me, but dont know where to start. Any recommendations?
If you turn the garage into kids bedroom, how you heat up the garage if furnace doesn't feed the rear of the RV, do you just use a space heater in the winter?
I love the desk! That is what I want to do if we get a toy hauler. I was going to do it for both sides since we homeschool and I work from home that I can have my office junk behind me and my main stuff in front of me. Has anyone put weight on the happijac and had it hold up?
Seeing as it's built to support couches on either side that turn into a bed, and a queen bed on the top, I'd say it could take a good amount of weight. I'm not sure how much weight you're wanting to put on it , but it should at least take the weight of 2 American sized adults. Thanks for watching!
@@calebalbritton9421 why don’t you like residential fridge.l can get a 2022 395ms-r for about 104,000 with full paint,a generator ,party deck ,rear patio doors,3rd ac. I think that’s a great deal
@@skeim5620 that's a good price! You should do it! I like the RV fridge for the option to run it off of propane instead of having a large battery bank and inverter needed for residential.
@@lyfeofaj1565 it's called a happy Jack system. It loads up to the ceiling when not in use, and down when ready for bed. There's opposing couches below that fold down to a second bed (in an unaltered garage)
I am pretty young at 28! The answer is working as a software engineer, but the biggest part was buying a house in 2016 and then selling into this crazy housing market 5 years later. So @Mary Anne is right, success and discipline!
We have a say double coach with double slides and bunk beds and our dinette table and sofa is not leather all these most of your RVs of any kind they have leather and I can't stand leather I love cloth good cloth good designs but these are just so the cookie cutters that's what they are and I don't like that than the coach are of the fifth wheeler art see our little and any of them I like materials
