Hey Dan,I began following your page when the pandemic started and from then until now, your videos provide not only alot of great content but help with my depression. Thank you and your family. My best to all of you from Vermont.
Couldn’t have said it better! It was great to come together for this. Thank you for the Staff of Avion Richard. And thank you Dan for coming down to do this panel and chat with us. I really appreciate you signing my book.
Dan thank you for coming to Houston Retropalooza! My booth was the one with the Transformers I love to see the toys documented like this! Hope to see you at Retropalooza Arlington!
$80 Chip the Ripper Food Fighter and it's just lying in cardboard box. I can remember those toys lingering at close out stores into the early 90's. I had at least one of those MOTU magazines, the one with Hordak on the cover.
I really hope that Mattel starts doing reprints of the Masters of the Universe Magazine someday. Preferably hard bound paperback collections with the posters bound in as well.
Every time I see Battle Beasts I lament what a missed opportunity to make some badass licensed RTS style video game with them...or Army Ants or Food Fighters LOL.
My favourite Angel from “Charlie’s Angeles” is from Houston, Jaclyn Smith. Thankfully you had a guy identifying the Transformers for you, I’d have to pause the video to type in which one that was ever time.
That is awesome! I'm from Houston, when did this happen? That turtle van and Nintendo figures are awesome! And at 6:40 that's not a beetle borg, that's a Kamen Rider Kuuga figure!
While it would be cool to look around at these shows, the vendors need to realize it's not ebay. Why travel and have to haul stuff back home when you can buy it cheaper on ebay? People want to save a few bucks picking things up in person. Have to love the seller throwing a carded figures in a bin and charging $80 for it.
6:42 Hate to be that guy, but that figure is from Kamen Rider, not Beetleborgs. My KR knowledge isn’t vast enough to place down what Rider he is though. Stellar hunting video, nonetheless
yep great vid and of course decent music from someone from the land down Under lol pixel dan need you to come to one of our con,s supernova is our biggest but 4 times a year we have a collector con in penrith thats in sydney thats run by local people all action figs toys
Hey, Dan, Dark Horse has (in addition to your book) collected the mini-comics, Sunday comics, and art of He-Man. Do you think there's any chance they'll ever do the magazine? I'd love that. Also, those WWF squirters are great.
Hi there I was just wondering if you give me a idea what you've seen the prices of the masters of the universe battlecat with a striped tail? Really like your videos. Hope to see you someday at a toy show. In your book can you order that online?
Speaking as an Extreme Studios fan from day one, I always found Vogue's second design to be among Rob Liefeld's worst costumes ever. I suppose the brown armor was meant to contrast with her white makeup and purple hair but the result is an ugly color combination. Therefore, I find it amusing that the bendable collectible figure shown at 27:15 doesn't match the cover art for the special limited edition collector's comic book.
