I’ve had 5 toy poodles throughout my life. They are the best dogs ever. I don’t even consider a different breed. Maybe a standard size but will always have at least one toy poodle in my life. They are the sweetest, smartest, cutest dogs ever and I swear they understand every word their human says if you spend enough time with them. They understand your emotions and can sense everything. 11 out of 10.
Thank you for sharing this. I JUST got a toy poodle. My FIRST full blooded toy poodle and my first girl pup. I had a cavapoo prior to this and a cocker spaniel for YEARS! I am still a cocker spaniel lover but I adore my new poodle. She’s a baby for liiife
Yes they do I had a 13 year old toy poodle she had some health problems so the vet said to me be kind to your dog and yourself and have her put to sleep after that I don't go anywhere I put on a stone and half but after my son said dad you have got to get another dog I took me a long time and now I have a black toy poodle and I love him to bits ❤❤
I had my toy poodle for 15 years. Today I had to put him down. He’s such a smart little doggy and would recommend toy poodles to anyone. He’s extremely loyal and cared so much about us.
I’m in tears for you! I’ve had to dim this with our 15 year old Peekapoo! Our hearts were totally broken. Took us a long time before we got this little toy poodle we have now. She’s eight years old.
@@corrinemischiek1487 yeah I don’t think I’m going to get a new one any time soon. They’re very good dogs and I certainly miss the little guy. Sorry to hear about your pet and it’s such a shame they’re around for such a short time.
I have a 9 year old little girl and love her to bits. She has a problem with fatty foods and suffers with pancreatitis but is under control with a gastrointestinal food from the vet. Costs no more than any other pet food and her meals are small. Has a bit of a problem with her teeth as she cannot have a bone to chew on etc to keep her teeth clean. Has cost a bit in dental work - but she’s worth it. She is our 3rd poodle - the other two were miniatures.
Wayyyyy too smart, she is years old, and she often makes me feel that she is not a dog, she's is a human. She can pick up the conversation. For example, my husband was eating an apple, which is her favorite, was going to share with her, but I stopped him, told him that she still had her food to finish first, which I was not even looking at her, I was just having a casual conversation with my husband. She then went over to her food bowl, started eating her food. After she finished, she sat up straight, and looked at us with begging expression. I have her the treat as our routine. She's my family member, she's not a dog, she listens to me better than my kids!!🥰
Our toy poodle learns in a very short time. Poodles are very fast achievers. When I took my poodle to obedience class he was the fastest learner. He excelled to the next level with no problem. He loves to play all the time. 🐩
Miss my toy poodle so much! she was only 16 years old and in great shape but she passed away this july due to us feeding her way too much protein heavy foods and her kidneys failed and we needed to put her down. Loved her to bits and I miss her everyday of my life. Definitely don’t feed these little guys crazy amounts of food or high protein foods
@@capricorn8426 i did for awhile but towards the last two years of her life i wanted to feed her better food. i think that was a bad choice on my part, she was so used to her old food.
@@ninjakitty0219 I don't think the food was the problem, maybe it was because of old age. But overfeeding and unbalanced diet may play a part. What food did you feed her?
Our new Toy Poodle is still very young and is obsessed with our older whippets, the female (Valarie) managed to keep a distance but her brother (Bruce) gets jumped all over and is idolised by him, fortunately in typical whippets fashion he's very very docile and unphased so isn't bothered by the constant attention
I’m 12.5 and my family is looking to buy a red toy poodle in around a year and a half, will it be fine if by the time we buy the poodle my little brother will be 6-7 years old?
I own a toy poodle she's pretty lazy she doesn't like walking that much just like me😅,she loves playing with my hair she's 2 months old is that the right grammar?
My previous poodle also did not like swimming! When we brought him to the beach and put him down in the sea, he would swim back to the shore immediately
My toy poodle literally matches all of them are there in the swimming now he doesn’t really like to swing by before he loved it and he grew a lot bigger than most normal toy poodles but it’s probably because he’s a male but he definitely matches this but his Berks definitely could scare someone away
I have a toy poodle he cant sleep without my wife beside him, he sleeps on our bed. he is now 8 yrs old and now his platelet count is very low. we are worried but this is life, we are treasuring every minute tha he is still with us.
