Awesome I made the cut! It was a pleasure finally getting to meet Joe and Matt & Billy! 🙌 Italy has a ton of great vintage toys and you guys snagged away so many good stuff 😜🤘 Let’s go back soon!
I love the Toy show cross pollenization going on these days. 5 mins into this video and I had to stop for a breather. Micronauts Red Falcon in box…. Come on. All of it mind blowing😮
What makes this show is so great is it kind of bridges the gap between network television shows and RU-vid channels it feels like the perfect mix of both.
Back in the early 80s I had a set of weird European miniature figures that I'd bought in a discount shop. Tried for years to find them again but never knew who the characters were until I saw this episode. Turns out they were a Captain Harlock set that included Doctor Zero and his cat. A 40 year old mystery solved, thanks guys!
Leo’s Underground lair? Some turtles might be interested in that! Been excited for part 2! I remember seeing your trip round Europe and seeing Leo’s amazing lair before, excellent to see it again!
When I went to Italy years ago, I tried looking for toy shops and only managed to find an antique shop with some toys in them. I wanted to find some European toys to take home, but I didn't find any. It looks like they've moved on from no shops to actual toy shows. Great to see that! Great video showcasing this! Always interesting to see what toy shows look like outside the US.
Super video, really fascinating to see a very different approach to doing deals - their prices seemed very firm, yet they quickly realised they could get deals from you! Cheeky! Think I need to go back and watch part 1 again...
Really great show! Glad I had a brief word with you and Billy at Star Wars Celebration on the Monday! Hoping for more vids like this! Great work and very enjoyable!
Ah you had a Gatchaman God Phoenix II DX in hand and I just asked you about one without knowing you'd seen one! How spooky is that! We tended to get the smaller one here, the PB-73, that was an incredibly clean PB-72 you were looking at...
Awesome video ! I love those atlantic figures! Was cool to see ed ! 😊 I would love to visit leo lair! I live n the states but I'm from venezia originally😊
Brilliant video, superb quality editing and content as always. Thank you for making these top quality interesting toy videos so much better than anything on tv or RU-vid previously- well done 🙏
This was absolutely a treat to watch! Loved every minute of it, and Billy was a great addition! You 3 collaborated so well. Hilarious and just a good fun show to sit back and enjoy after a long tough week. We all love toys here and thanks for sharing the awesome journey. Cheers 🍻
I've enjoyed both parts - "everyday is a school day" rings so true. Hope you do a part 3 as a conclusion for this with Johnathan Ross. Me personally am after a box for a 1966 Ideal Captain Action & a good condition Six Million Dollar Man laboratory amongst other things. 🌞🤔😎🙌👍
Awesome stuff!!!!! Some amazing pieces there wow!!!!!! Really entertaining video. And brilliant to see Eds retro geek out! Big fan of his channel. Love it!ile give it 5 😍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😉😅👍👍👍👍👍
I mean... Does Leo have a warehouse size store somewhere?!? Please tell me he has an ebay store? That is SO much stock! 😅 Another absolute belter as always guys, all the best for the upcoming year, it's definitely on my New Year list to get down South and see your place finally!
Thought I'd comment on your most recent video but just wanted to say I've been going back through ALL of them over Christmas and they really have been a joy to watch whilst having a baileys and some cheese. Props to the production team behind it!
This was a great video. The Italians are a lovely bunch, by the looks of it. And so many toys. That Hulk Billy had in his hand, was interesting. Have to compliment Matt on his camera work, and production of the videos. Joe always has a smile on his face, which is great to see. Who wouldn't, if your business is toys. What a job to have. And not forgetting about the warehouse in the beginning. What a treasure trove of stuff. Thanks guys. Was a really fun watch.
First the Baltan in part 1, now Miclas in this video. You seem to run into Ultraman monsters a lot on this trip. A little extra trivia, Miclas was one of several Capsule Monsters UltraSeven (and other later Ultramen) carried in small capsules and released tthem as aids in fights. The creator of Pokemon has cited them as inspiration.
Truly wonderful stuff. The production value of this episode is incredible - huge kudos to all involved in making it. I did spy a very quick glimpse of a Laurel and Hardy toy - is that an Easter egg for Matt”s documentary?
It was almost a purchase… but being a hand made Italian toy from the 30’s they were quite pricey… he did get the Chump At Oxford Italian film poster though and it’s up in the edit suite! Thanks for watching ✊
You had me at Micronauti! And Voltron, and Jeeg and Atlantic... I think I'll go and have a lie down... The Mego Flash Gordon set looked pretty cool, not my thing, but nice! Did you get the Red Falcon? If you're not keeping it you may be getting a call from an interested party. When are you next open..? Well done on the Shogun, broken or not! PS: DON'T diss MISTER Dean! He's a close personal friend and a little ill tempered. 😂
Just sat down with my fish finger sandwich and spotted this! Life doesn’t get better 😂 oh actually life does get better, visiting that warehouse would be better. Micronauts and Jeeg heaven!!!
@@leicestervintagetoyshop I’m still watching and there’s so much eye candy, the Micronauts, lobros, the Mazinger shogun warrior. I need to save up to go to Italy 😂 you should look for the clear version of the Magnemo Jeeg, its beautiful
Great show guys, looks like you had a blast. Need to get over to Leicester and see if any of those pick ups made it to the shop. Also got an Asterix point of sale display Joe might be interested in 😄. Hope there’s more TSOT for 2024 🤞
Initially it was Inspector Gadget that caught my eye, but then my subliminal brain kicked in and ID'D an incomplete (as displayed) Dai-X from Star Fleet / X-Bomber - not all that surprising as Joe sourced mine from Italy on the first Toy Shop on Tour! Blink and you'll miss it! 47:43
Missing Gav. Who's gonna show us the Care Bears and the odd baby-dolls? Always appreciate Joe's childlike wonder and Matt's fantastic production work though.
Really great episode. Also liked matts footwork trying to keep the guy out of shot that kept poking his head around youbon day 2 of the toy fair. Haha.
That Big Jim Tiger, was that cage included with its price? I grew up with Big Jim toys, my first one (if not so, one of my first toys) and favorite was the great figure Dr. Steel. Other favorite of mine is the Matchbox Fighting Furies' The Ghost of Cap'n Kidd. Greetings from The Netherlands!
At one of these shows you can spend thousands of euros but you can also get loads of enjoyment collecting on a smaller budget. Much joy is found out of a £1 rummage box 👍
As a fellow bald headed, spectacle wearer, I need to know what designer bins you wear. They’re awesome. Great channel fellas and as a 43 year old toy nut, it’s right up my street. Cheers!
