It's RACE DAY! The picks are in and the cars are lined up for side by side drag racing KING OF THE HILL Style. No Prep, No Tree Go on 3 style. Let,s see who takes it.
I would love to do this ,but I already have a exspensive habbit , in playing with r.c. cars ...and trucks...so fn.. exspensive..most of my cars r 600$ and up
My friends and I would drag race HO scale cars in the 1970s. Each of us would have a couple cars each. One would be stock and one would be modified with a hop up kit we would get at the hobby shop. We would have a tournament with entry fees for each class and the winner would take the pot. We also would use an electric candle light with an on/off switch for the start.
Another great racing event full of laughs! Those cars look like a ton of fun! I've never raced anything bigger than 1/64 on the slot track. Congrats to the winners. Thankx for racing guys!
Civics are actually pretty fast in the top end if its dig racing the civic could lose to traction problems but if it's a roll then it has a good chance of winning that is of course if it's upgraded
BRINGS BACK CHILDHOOD MEMORIES. I HAD A TRACK THAT WENT ALL AROUND MY BEDROOM. AND Í'M A GIRL, NOW A GROWN WOMAN WHO COULD NEVER GET ENOUGH OF SPEED ON WHEELS, INCLUDING DIRT BIKES. NOW I'M DISABLED AND MISS THE THRILL OF THE SPEED.
We did this back in the '70's with AFX HO cars. You guys are jumping the starts which we eliminated by putting a power switch on the transformer so both cars always started at the same time. Your cars were like ours in that some were shockingly fast while others, like the Viper, were barely able to make it down the track. We took those slow ones and worked on them to get the speed up. I had a car that was amazingly quick and destroyed anything we ever ran against. It was a "Mako Shark Corvette" in turquoise blue. That thing was scary quick out of the box, and a balanced rewound armature took it up to insane levels. It never won by less than about 1/3 of the track, and often it was over half. I was really loud when it ran too. I took it to a local slot car track that did drag races and it destroyed the so-called "quickest" cars in town. A neighbor broke into our house and stole it one day. He stole a radio of mine and the Vette and was so stupid he had my radio in his bedroom a year later on with my initials on the back of it. I got the radio back, and he got a beating by his mom, but I never saw the Vette again. When I moved out west, I found a bunch of people doing it in Las Vegas and I did well, but the Vette would have ruled over those cars, like it did before.
Ghost jerker probably has the biggest imagination I've ever seen for a guy his age, and you know what? I am not complaining I absolutely love seeing stuff like this so keep up the awesome videos ghost jerker!

To go THAT far and then fall FLAT in the semifinals... and then have the DBS beaten by the Diablo. Ouch. Just OUCH. Oh, question : When do the HotWheels King of the Hill competitions return?

I'm a newbie and i'm still trying to figure out what brand track and what size cars to go with. Are these 1/32? I do kind like these but I want to see them on a track with curves. Anyway, do you guys have any advice?
Cool ! - What voltage do you run? - back when I was young the local slot car shop ran 36 vdc on their drag strip IIRC - I made a rail dragster with aluminum tubing, epoxy and a Pittman motor. It was tough to keep the tires on the rims.
