I thought that Robin was always a male character. I guess I was wrong. That aside, I'm not a fan of this figure much like the Batman figure. I didn't like the Batman figure because it was overly bulky and I've never liked an overly bulky Batman figure. However, I don't like this figure because its a mess overall. This figure is a great accessory for anyone that has the mezco one:12 px exclusive tdkr figure.pop it on the display base with batman and it just makes it pop that much more.it is however the only mattel dkr figure that is not better than the dc direct version despite the added articulation. Your figure is weird though, I've never seen any of these that have come with my mattel shipments with that belt color though quite of a few of these were released defective with things like backward thighs.looks so bad without the belt being painted like the one being reviewed, like a knock off from China.i would send it back/get a refund or exchange from wherever you picked it up.
I love The Dark Knight Returns story and picked up and love the Bat Man figure. I wanted Robin for my display and passed over her about five times already. I'd say she's a horrible figure.
Toy Man 1976 have two of these for my px and Puerto Rico comic con exclusive tdkr figures and they look fantastic standing next to the batman figures on their base, they really make them pop. Standing against the mattel batman figures though, I don't think I'd feel the same way,it would probably just make everything look cheaper. The best mattel has done from the line(based on how well they work with my higher end figures) would be superman(one of my favorite recent superman figures at that price point and a great representation of that comic version) and their new armored batman(looks straight out of the comic and almost exactly like the high end statues based on the series) saw the new joker mattel will be releasing some time in the next few months in person and it's amazing. Robin seems to be the only one out of the line that wasn't better than a dc direct version.
Wolf Man in the 60s series he had been a teenage boy in many of the animated movies and animated shows a teenager. this interpretation of Robin had been meant for a graphic novel special that had not been in cannon with the new 52 and dc rebirth. if they brought carrie Kelly into the mix again she needs to be put in the batman beyond 2.0 comics she is a great fit to be Robin to terry mcguines batman with an updated outfit and other crime fighting weapons and or tools.
