The emotional attachment I have to toy story is insane. I sobbed like crazy at the ending

I was so sad when Woody want with the other people and left the OG squad and I was so sad when Andy left I cried really hard with both

I'm a little bit disappointed because she even not kept her promise to Andy to keep an eye and take care Woody. And she replace her toys in a spork? but the ending is killin' me so much pain in my heart.

When I’m sad about an ending I make up my own after math so I don’t find myself as sad. So here is what I’m gonna say: Every year Bonnie and her family go on that same road trip (like how my family is with going to the snow each year) and they you know get to see each other every once in a while and catch up. Then one day Andy and his kids show up to that carnival because Andy and his wife wanted to have a fun day with the kids, Woody wants to make himself known so he positions himself somewhere where Andy would notice him and once Andy does.. I think you can kind of figure out the rest juts a little trip down memory lane or something

Toy story 5 should be about Andy visiting from college to Bonnie. And Andy realizes Woody is gone. And Andy gets upset and try’s to look for Woody all around the world.

I honestly thought that toy story 3's ending was a lot sadder than four's ending.

It’s actually real sad because the voice actor who played potatohead actually died in 2017 and the directors had to gather up all of lines that he’s said in his 20 years of acting. just like mr. potato is made up of multiple parts.

I don’t understand the people who hate this movie It’s the deepest that toy story has ever been I mean we got Woody going through a midlife crisis and learning to live with it and then we get the best ending woody’s story could possibly have He served his purpose being a child’s plaything now he helps other toys get to know what it’s like I couldn’t think of a better path for woody to follow if I tried and he’s happy with Bo which is something we all wanted for him

My sister spoiled the end of this for me so I didn't watch it for ages despite having looked forward to it for months. But apparently it didnt matter that I knew how it ended because I just watched it today and I was sobbing by the end of it.

It’s creepy how photorealistic this is. It’s like they decided to make a fourth movie just to show off what they can do with the characters and environments. I’m not totally mad at it.

Andy never wants to donate woody but woody himself leaves him for his gang poor woody still left alone.. And how come Bonnie's behavior changed too much she was so happy to find out woody before I wish he stayed with Andy cuz he never left him alone.

When the news broke that this was coming out I jumped with excitement even tho I was 19 but I didn’t care Toy story was a film I could watch over and over again everyday when I was a little kid Toy story 3 left such a huge gap I loved it so much but 3&4 will never beat 1&2 they were my faves and always will be It made me so emotional seeing the end of this incredible film Couldn’t believe I had to say goodbye to such an amazing franchise

Toy Story 5 Years into the future, Andy returns home from college ready to get his toys back from Bonnie. He is devastated on the fact that Bonnie did not take care of Woody. Hearing this Buzz and the gang attempt to reunite Andy and Woody. They meet up at carnival again where Woody sees post college Andy. Andy takes Woody and Bo and the other Toys Story 4 carnival characters back home where he plays with them all just like how he used to. Time skip, Andy's children are playing with all their toys just like their father. The end. Not a film we asked for but the one we deserved

I was extremely hesitant to them making a fourth film as I was to them making a third film. I didn’t want them to ruin what they had already made. The trilogy was perfect as it was. It had the perfect ending. But after I saw the fourth film I changed my mind. Not only was the fourth film hilarious, interesting, etc, but I realized that it was worthy of being made and added something pretty important to the series as a way to end it. The third film finished Andy’s story. Andy had grown up and gave away his toys to the next child to play with and enjoy with limitless imagination. But as the series is called Toy Story and not Andy Story, it makes sense for them to finish the toys’ story as well. And I felt like they did that perfectly in the fourth film. I thought it was a really great finish to the series, and I’m glad that they made it.

I regret watching this movie it ruins my childhood 😫

I’m worried about Woody’s health. He’s been given a hard time and getting through many traumatizing situations. Even if Woody was very selfish in the first movie, he never wanted to be replaced and that when he got lost, he had to find a way to get back home while bringing Buzz home(which still didn’t know he was a toy)

What have I misses? Toy Story was one the biggest parts of my childhood and when I saw this movie I was... SO HAPPY like in my opinion this was so good and Forky as a character was so cute and I don't see why some people hate this. It's true that Woody left the gang and Bonnie didn't keep her promise but still I don't know, I just loved this so much.

The movie was good but... wasn't Woody always saying that the best place for a toy to be is being played with and loved? And at the end he just kinda left all his friends to wander the streets with some girl?

Unpopular opinion, but I thought the ending was very fitting, woody had been a great toy, as he was with Andy, woody was always there for Andy because he was Andy’s favorite toy, but Andy grew up, and so did woody. When woody went to Bonnie the roles changed and he wasn’t needed anymore, he realised that forky was what Bonnie needed more than him, since his role was finished as a toy he went with bo helping toys find kids as his new purpose as he did with forky and gabi. While I think toy story 3 was a perfect ending, it only told the end of Andy’s story, while toy story 4 told the ending of woody’s story

Fun fact if someone in toy story died the other toys would know but the kid wouldn’t know and keep playing with the corpse

TS4 was cute but unnecessary. I didn't like the way Woody was pushed aside and ignored, he shoulda went to college and stayed with Andy. Part 3 was the perfect ending.

It kind of bothers me that Bonnie would get in trouble and Woody confiscated just for being in her backpack. It wouldn’t be like she brought a cell phone to school. Since it’s only her first day of orientation she should be allowed to bring one to keep her company for at least the first few days of school, as long as it doesn’t distract her during instruction or activity time. After all, this is kindergarten, not high school, and there are toys in the classroom to play with as well.

( pretty long analysis bc i love this movie so much ugh i could go on talking about this for hours ) You know, the ending is painful, we’re all mad at bonnie for not keeping her promise to andy and replacing most of her toys that was ONLY given to her with a literal spork. However, we should remember that stuff happens to all of us and each of the characters needs to grow and move on, or else they will remain stagnant in life. These toys dont age but their owners along with their mindset do. And they can’t do anything about that so they have to make do with the circumstances they’re in and the decisions they need to make for them to adjust and cope. What woody did in the end honestly brought me to tears, it wasnt a happy ending nor was it a bad ending either. He didn’t make the decision with the thought that he was less important thus he was replaced by his kid, no. He made a decision where he will be most happy and content. Him leaving his long time gang and his kid doesn’t change the memories and adoration he holds for them- whether during the time he was with them and during the time he’ll be away from them. He continues to cherish those moments in his heart, the only difference here is that they’re not together anymore.
