It looks cool, but I think they messed up by making it specifically TS4 and not covering ALL of the TS movies. That would have been a smarter move in my honest opinion.
JJPs next game is rumored to be The Matrix. Which is one of the most popular cyberpunk movies. Also, there are some classic cyberpunk games like Johnny Mnemonic.
@@explosiveegg3920 that sounds really cool but I bet it will be very green. I like the colour scheme of the movies but not sure on the translation to pinball
Look forward to trying this table but I am not a fan of that iPad. We already have a giant 27" screen, would much prefer they used that upper left area for a cool interactive mech or challenging shot or, ya know, something physical. Maybe I'll dig it but that's my biggest turnoff with this playfield.
yeah, I feel your pain. I got lucky one time and posted in the old google pinball forums about nobody around me having pinball anymore and I was message back by a guy who was stationed in my town and he had literally the best pinball collection of all time. I was blessed that day. :) But otherwise, I live in a pinball desert.
Two friends in my league who live near me have it on order, one of them will definitely be on location at some point too. There are so many pins around me that I'm spoiled. Literally get to play every new game and there are over 100+ pins on location in my county.
Epic fail by JJP. Pin should have been based on the earlier movies. Should have been some innovation with mechs on the playfield. Spinning disk was done in Whirlwind. Popup head has been done. What? A gigantic iPad on the playfield, yuck! That would have been a great location for an innovative mech. Over $12,000 and JJP puts $20 worth of cake toppers all over the playfield. Talk about cheap asses! That is a rip off.
There's a generous kickback on the left outlane and it looks like it wanted to reward multiballs more than it wanted to drain.. considering he played 1 ball for 10 minutes.....
looks cool, especially liked the crazy little table on the screen, that was a nice surprise. Can't wait to see if someone will let you use one for a live stream so we can see you really open this thing up and show us what its got.
I hate that screen part at 4:25. Just reminds me of Munsters and ACDC bottom playfield. Hate those big time and feel they take away from the flow of the game. The virtual part here doesn't seem that long but makes me wonder why even put it in? Does it feel like it takes away from you enjoying the flow because of playing that mini game? Waiting on it to show up here in my state so I can try it. My wife really wants it but I feel we need to play it before we drop $12k on that. Only pin we did not play before buying was Wonka and got that for my wife, however, I play it more than her. That game is flat out awesome once you figure out everything.
I think they're going for a smooth relaxed playstyle on purpose. You don't see as much of the aggressive chaos of older tables these days. Natural extension of their purpose no longer being to make you lose quickly.
It is a costly game, but Lawlor's did not set the price. There is no need to attack the man. If it doesn't look like your kind of game, that is perfectly fine... Lawlor should keep doing whatever the hell he wants, and if you don't like the games he makes, you don't have to play it...
