Hey gang,
Instead of comic books, this time we are unboxing actions figures! Specifically, we are looking at new (to me) figures from my all-time favorite figure company, Mego!
In this video, we will see their Universal Monsters Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Cornelius, the chimp played by Roddy McDowell in the classic Planet of the Apes movies, Plus, we have Worf and Lt. Geordi LaForge from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and DC Comics stalwarts Deathstroke the Terminator and SHAZAM (i.e. the original Captain Marvel).
The latter two are in Mego's new 26-point bandless body configuration. Why do I make of the new body type? You'll have to watch the video to find out, natch.
I acquired all of these figures from ZLCcollectibles.com. So, big shout-out to them!

Mego booger! I def had the Spider-Man doll when i was 5. That and ASM 190 are some of the very first comic memories I have.

I’m a huge Black Hole fan…….hoping we get more of those. We did get those figures from Diamond a couple years ago, never got a second wave….?

I haven’t really seen these figures until your videos and they are really neat that deathstroke is pretty cool, What kinda booger doesn’t want to play with their figures or display them out of box I’m in your same boat!

Love Mego! I am with you about mint on card/encapsulation, what good are they if you cant read/play?! Loved the Planet of the Apes TV show! And I seem to remember having some of the Mego figures for it. I had many of the superheroes Megos. They were wonderful toys to have and I had so many wonderful adventures with them! Very fond memories of Mego!

Mega Booger!!! I was a little older and into other things when the Megos came out in the seventies so I never had any. I did have the original GI Joes in the mid sixties. Great video!!

Duke I grew up with Mego but unfortunately I played with mine mom probably threw them away because I didn't put them away

Hi Duke, great idea to make a video of the new mego action figures. I did not know that mego startet producing again. I have two old figures from the 70´s and though they are not really this posable I like they design with they cloth costumes. Of course I startet looking for the new figures and bought Deathstroke and the Flash right away. The new Shazam looks great, also and of course Green Lantern which I will look for next. Please show us more action figures as they come along.

Man u are so wrong about the new bodies. First of all they have a new kind of muscle body sculpt. which is way better than the original. I love the fact that they're stiff joints bc i know the figure won't flop around when i'm posing him. Figure can do a full split an can fully extend. the arms which is way better for posing. Arms won't come out of the socket like the old school. I always popped them out as a kid. Totally happy with these. Kids don't worry about posing these figures too much so it doesn't make any difference. Torso works totally fine for me an moves around just tight enough an very posable.
