0:30 stupid implementation. My Kia Soul has remote start but the engine only stops if you entered the vehicle and don’t hit the gas pedal and press the start engine button at the same time.

They are a very good crossover. We live in New England. You can not go 1 mile without seeing one. Every soccer mom has one. We had a 2018 SE, just traded for a 4Runner limited. Went with the 4Runner because want to do a little off roading and tow a boat.

Great video🙌🏼 ! I just got the 2021 platinum in silver, black interior with hitch. It can can tow 5000lbs. It has all the bells and whistles plus on the rear back left side you can use your foot to open the back if your hands are busy haha. Super cool feature. Initially I went for the xse body style but didn’t had what this one has so I’ve passed on it. I’ve tested also the hybrid version but I wasn’t crazy about it. Was only $800 difference in price for the hybrid vs the non hybrid. The highlander platinum 2021 non hybrid it’s amazing, I absolutely love it!

No rear cargo hatch lights? At least my 2019 4Runner had two on the backside of the hatch that you could turn on or off.

In the digital mirror in top right corner there is a battery like symbol. sometimes it is a blank battery like and sometimes it is full battery like symbol. what is that ? why it sometimes like fully charges like and some times blank battery kind of symbol ?

I want to buy this car so bad, I love it. I read from consumer reviews and watched youtube videos. They said there is wind/whistling noise when you are driving on the highway and it can stall also due to faulty Auto/Stop feature! I wonder if Toyota fixed that problem!

In the settings you can shut off the auto stop unlike the 2019 Highlander

On the Limited and Platinum is toe actuated rear door opener setup for an add on tow hitch? Are any other changes required to the toe sensor to install a third party tow hitch receiver?

You would have to get them to rewire the kick sensor, I have talked to some people about getting it done and some people made it work. Make sure when you install the tow hitch ask them to make sure it doesn't get in the way.

i dont like the remote start feature where the car shuts off when you open the door. when i had it installed on my escape I had to sign a waiver for the tech to bypass this feature. if you hit the brake without the key in the ignition it shuts the car off....

You can turn off that option on any of the Highlander Trims.

Good video. The only thing I would give you a hard time about is the phrase "other than that". You tend to use that phrase a lot. But that is nitpicking. Other than that......... Overall, good job.
