So, I'm going down the dash cam rabbit hole and I came across your video. I didn't know that there were dash cams that can be integrated with the head units. Granted that you have to stay with the same company, I'm very, VERY intrigued.
Pretty interesting, I'm running the Alpine DVR C320R on all the trucks for the company I work for abd on my 4runner. Hopefully there's a way for me to integrate the front bumper camera to my actual set up.
This video was a huge help. I am doing an install of a rear view mirror camera system and was thinking of mounting the camera to the break light and searched to see if anyone had done that. :) I am also installing a front camera but below my winch to use off road. do you also sell the usb power adapter alone to use to power ooff the crawl control area?
We have seen people install their customers on the 3rd brake light - usually that involves heating up the seals to remove the lens, installing the camera to the lens (using clear silicone to seal it off) then re-seal the light back together. The Alpine dash cam gets power from the head unit wiring harness if bought from us!
@@TrailGridPro makes sense. One more question. Do I still get to use the factory side cameras on the car as well? Also does this require a head unit replacement or will it work with the 2023 ORP factory head unit?
@@jessedjabatey These cameras only work with these Alpine head units: trailgridpro.com/pages/toyota-4runner-accessories#toyota-4runner-alpine-bundles and they overwrite any factory cameras.
