Not trying to be a hater but my favourite MPV is the Toyota Estima. If I get a really big car, I'm afraid it might not fit because carpark at my house is damn small leh..hybrid type of Estima.
I watch a lot of car review videos, especially for rare cars here in the UK. Most are dire - either too longwinded oruniformative or even both. Not so this one. I was both hugely entertained and informed. Thank you. I shall look out for your future reviews.
Since you are talking Limo Van, try to compare with convertable vans like H350 and Sprinter. Both can be converted into a Limo Van with everything from toilet, minibar to highend captains chairs in leather. Could be nice with a reveiw of these kind of Vans, they seem to compete with the stretch Limousine... 😊
this may come really late, but whats a good lookin MPV? dunno if its the same category la.. but i really love Mitsubishi Grandis. from the drivability, to the practicality, and the looks department. another one? Honda Odessy.
those we expect almost same features and comfortability but much lower cost car, can look for nissan serena s-hybrid premium, it's a smaller car if compared to vellfire and alphard but good enough for my family, we enjoy driving and sitting in it very much, even when the engine is not on
To answer your question: I used to think that the Alphard/Vellfire looked ugly, just too boxy and the styling was too "aggressive"/offensive (see the styling of Toyota Mirai to get what I mean here). But I've grown to accept the Alphard/Vellfire now and I'm kinda neutral about the boxiness but I think the front of the Alphard is still very very ugly. In terms of good looks, I used to think that the Estima was how it should look - but then one day I was sitting inside a Vellfire as we drove by an Estima and the Estima looked so small! lol
Yes this is what we call luxury, but what i call luxury is a Mercedes S400 hybrid, Overfinch special edition vogue, Ferrari 488 GTB and a Porsche Cayman 718
In terms of looks, I think the Mercedes Benz Vito tourer is better looking as it's a lot more subtle yet keeps a discreet presence. The toyota's are a lot more garish and shouts "Hey move away! I'm a business man going around or Move!! I think I'm a king and try to look it"
