I drive a BZ4X I drive it as a Taxi. It’s best car I ever drove. I will do your weekly driving in a day. It’s charge is 550. Enough to drive. A long way. Other models don’t compare. Friends with other models complain. And are dissatisfied the guarantee on the BZ 4. Says it all. Other Makes can’t give this guaranteed
Howard you are one of the best motor journalists. Easy to understand detailed review each time delivered in a funny and sophisticated way. Thank you Sir for helping and entertaining us
You are so correct about the internet. *Those who know the least, shout the loudest.* *_As for the car itself._* It's not going to be the _"out and out all drivers car"._ But then, it's not aimed at those people. It's aimed at people who need a safe, totally reliable car that you know will get you from "A" to "B" with the least trouble and the least stress. _And the whistling and cyclist at the end capped this video off really nicely too._ ;-))...
"It's aimed at people who need a safe, totally reliable car that you know will get you from "A" to "B" with the least trouble and the least stress." I mean, isn't that everyone's main concern? It is for my wife and I. We love our BZ4X.
@@oilerlord7367 From the amount of idiot drivers you see on the internet, then sadly not. Not sure if it's from batflu or for the amount of new arrivals into the UK, but there's a lot of idiots out there.
I have had mine for over 1 month and it is my favorite car, aside from my 2013 Camry Hybrid. Incredible build and quality, once Toyota improves the battery range to 500-1000 miles per charge, this will be the perfect EV.
Finally, a balanced review for the BZ4X. You are quite correct...people that don't own one hate it. We bought ours last month, at a heavily discounted price (thanks Reddit!). My wife and I absolutely love this EV. We have the Limited/AWD model. It's luxury rivals our Lexus.
Look around: Every non-Tesla EV lease is heavily subsidized What it tells you is selling EV's at a loss is the price of admission to comply with regulations So they can continue to sell profitable trucks and SUV's
3 months of ownership , 3000 miles….. great experience. Mild weather accepted but range experience 330 miles. Very comfortable seats . 0% finance for contract hire…….
Toyota owns a 100% battery subsidiary and is confident in the quality and longevity of its batteries. The most important mission of the battery subsidiary is to never cause a fire accident.
0 - 80% in 30 minutes, using a 150 KW DC Charger (I have not tested this my self, it's taken from the specifications) 0 -100% in 6,5 hours using 11 KW AC Charger (This is my own real deal) After 6 months / 21K km, first impression last, its awesome.
@@auser6426 Thanks , I just ordered one a couple hrs ago - Wont arrive till September though , They said they will install a home charger for free etc - I got a hybrid chr , I hope charging this thing doesnt become annoying🤔
And Scandinavian test show that Tesla got the highest loss of capacity in cold weather. I have been driving mine, in Scandinavia, at end of march within WLTP range. 2 men says they are Jesus, one of them must be wrong. For: This video is spot on, with the Car, the Owners and the Internet. I don't like SUVs Crossovers or any other high riding Car, I went for a test drive in the car and I bourght it. The more I learn about other BEVs the more happy I am with mine Against: If you don't like the car, don't buy it.
Here in Japan, there has not been a single fire incident involving a Japanese-made EV. The batteries (Toyota-Panasonic, GS-Yuasa,Toshiba) used in Toyota, Nissan, and Mitsubishi EVs are all made in Japan. Japan's newest submarine (Taigei class) also Adopt and equpped lithium batteries (GS-Yuasa). An EV spontaneously combusted and caught fire at an Audi dealer's garage, destroying eight vehicles. Since it was an Audi, I assume the batteries were made in Korea.
covered all the important stuff as usual, Toyota/Lexus are no match for competitors... unless of course you want to feel important... cause you're not... (are those Cartier eye glasses?)
This is obviously a video sponsored by Toyota ! This car is pne of the WORST E.V.s ever made please do yourself a BIG favour and buy anything else but this car.....you can thank me later.
We need you to back it up with some figures or some personal experience...SOMETHING! You're just a random name in the internet, saying don't buy this car for no reason given. 🤷
its a peice of over hyped crap. I sent mine back after 5 months as it just kept stopping when it felt like it, the infotainment system kept crashing. The adaptive cruise control stopped working.
If the 12V battery goes up/dead/flat.... When leaving the remote control key (keyless entry system) at home, it must be at least 3 meters(10feet) away from the car or the battery will run up. Or, provide a Faraday box to store the key. At any distance, the signal will be blocked. If the remote control key is brought within 3 meters, the erectric power system is activated (wakes up) and consumes the 12V battery. I am Japanese.
