Toyota Camry 2008 V6 How To install alternator and belt 

Great vid, thanks. My mother just broke so I have to decide if I want to do it myself or bring it to a shop. Looks like we are gonna have someone else do it cuz it’s winter and that looks like a bitch. I hate replacing alternators in transverse motors, especially when it’s a v6 stuffed in there when most are v4. So ya thanks for helping me make my decision on whether I want to do this or not.

Disconnect the wiring harness (hidden) attached to the side of the alternator. This step was not mentioned in the video.

It is kinda ironic that this guy talks about what other peoples videos don't tell you when he fails to mention the 3 bolts that attach the hood latch and horns to the metal piece that spans the radiator...

You failed to mention the Fact that the Alternator has three bolts... I can tear apart the whole front end of a car to do this... You failed to mention the rear alternator bracket bolt... So you leave people tugging on an alternator that has a third bolt. Fix this...

Theres a third bolt ... & you dont have to remove any pulleys... Look for the rear bracket bolt above the AC compressor...

do you know where crank shaft position sensor is on this car ?

Check all your idlers & tensioner while the belt is off
