Great videos, very helpful. I do wonder why you opted to paint the top of the inserts instead of the undersides though, if you did the undersides then you could have had the black color show through the clear plastic and still retain the fluted surface and clean gloss of the top side. It would look more factory oem that way. They came out really nice though.
Awesome video, def gonna help me out. I had a question about the LED strips. I know they're able to be cut but are there soldering posts to extend the length of the LED? I couldn't tell.
awesome! how did you turn off the DRL and the auto on feature on the celica so you can use the demon eyes? Also, do the angel eyes replace the low beams or where did you connect them to? Thanks
The angel eyes were connected to a separate circuit, you can get a remove 12v switch which works well. Angel eyes just connect to a DRL relay. In the UK celica’s didn’t come with DRL but if you are in the US then you could wire into the low beams
Thanks, there are lots of options on Amazon and eBay for the strips and demon eyes. These change a lot depending on availability, the strips are switchback leds strips 60cm and just search for demon eyes and you should get a hit
How do you heat them up to put them back together with the butyl glue? They doesn’t fit in the oven as they’re huge. I was looking at videos of a cardboard oven, but even to get a large enough cardboard box will be a challenge. So how do you put them back together?
@@garyl5355 Aw, okay. Because I took them apart based on your video and it worked well, so if I can put back together in the same way, then it’s great 👍🏻 Thanks Gary
Hi, I don’t think I have one of the headlight reassemble, it’s basically a reverse of taking apart. I run a strip of the butyl glue around the channel on the light, push the lens back in place and then heat gently while pushing the lens in and ensuring all the clips are engaged.
